Or the nuclear negotiations in the middle of which he supposedly approved the Israeli attack?

Does anybody on the planet trust Trump any more on anything?
 
It is important to list down the possible objectives of Israel in order to analyse the conflict and to ascertain their success. The possible war objectives of Israel are:

  1. Primary Objective: Regime change or regime collapse in Iran. The first is the ideal scenario and the second one is acceptable.

  2. If US and Israel wanted regime change in Iran from the start and it wasn't a case of mission creep then why they didn't started with a concerted effort to topple the government?

    In my opinion, the Zionist were pushing for regime change from the start but Americans were not keen on wasting American lives and pushed back. Zionist went in alone without clearly defined and agreed upon objectives with the Americans. The theory of regime change being the ultimate objective of Israel is further strengthened by decapitation attempt made by Israel at the start of hostilities.
  3. Destruction of Iranian military capabilities especially its ballistic missile and long range drone arsenal.
  4. Destroying or damaging Iranian nuclear program. Israel was aware that Iran was not developing nuclear weapons secretly but the capability was very much there. So the goal was to severely damage the nuclear infrastructure and eliminate knowledge base.
  5. Shift the focus of world from genocide in Gaza to conflict with Iran.

They will get time, but so will Iran. I’m sure countries sympathetic to Iran will flood it with the best of weapons.

Dude.. Iranian military had no idea what they were doing at all. If Putin put Iran out of its misery with its poor military performance then he did Iran a favour……

As a Palestinian,

You cannot really put that over the shoulders of Iran when the rest of the entire Muslim world is silent. Some of those Muslims who are watching like a pack of wolves to see Iran defeated.
 
I think Khamenei is a Mossad/France/MI5 agent. This guy keeps getting important and valuable people killed. He got the most important guy in Iran (Amir Hazidjeh) killed on day one.

He and Nasrallah screwed the whole AoR with strategic errors and non-existent red lines that led to a massive increase in Israeli appetite in Gaza and elsewhere.

This ceasefire is just for Israel to reload interceptors. They'll give Iran two months before Israel will be back in September bombing Iran again. He is literally making everything easier for Israel and helping them achieve their objectives. I don't get it.
 
If Iran still has launchers and missile capability, it needs to pound Israel for a week at least. That is what will rebuild deterrence. Otherwise it is getting fooled again in the guise of ceasefire. Did Iran learn nothing from what Hamas and Hezbollah have gone through ??

If reports of Iran losing most of its launchers are true and it can only shoot 5 or 6 missiles per day now, then it's a different story.

Actually Hajizadeh was not competent at all and he got himself killed by breaking protocol to get all IRGC-ASF leadership to meet in the same place at the start of the war which got them all killed

Salami was even worse

Ali Rashid was 72 years old

the only real loss was Bagheri

but all the upper echelon guys are 60s-70s which just doesn't work. they are old relics too cowardly and incompetent to run a war against a ruthless enemy. we need the younger generation to replace them
