Hyperbole and propaganda should not be mistaken for unprofessionalism. They were given a narrative to sell, they tried.

True, but look at some of their ex 2-3 Stars on their TV channels, coem across as rabid monkies, hard to respect them anymore, Hindutva has rot their insides

Theatrics after retirement for show by a few because they are being paid for it. Besides, you are bound to have a few bad apples in a military and country as large as India's.

Let's not derail this thread further.

Don't mistake the Indian loons online and on TV for the Indian Servicemen. They are professionals and do show the same professional respect and courtesy for the Pakistani Servicemen. We've seen it countless times.
Are you referring to the Indian serviceman that routinely carry out extrajudicial killings and sexual assault in Kashmir as an intentional state policy or the ones who recently came to bomb your civilian infrastructure?

The 'professionalism' they show is out of compulsion due to environment, plus Indians are infamously known to be ass kissers in person and too timid to voice their true opinions in person.

Going on pathetic lying sprees without an ounce of truth that no one in the world believes is hardly 'propaganda' - it's just a pathetic way to cope in front of your domestic audience who is stupid enough to buy it.

It's 2025, there are no "few bad apples" in India, the entire state apparatus and society at large has become the bad apple, it's now "few good apples" for the boomer understanding.

I was mainly speaking to the professional etiquette and respect towards the other's servicemen.

That's....exactly what propaganda is.

it's now "few good apples" for the boomer understanding.

Do I sound that old? Or was it my wisdom?

Let's not derail this thread anymore. We can take it elsewhere.

I am sorry to say to all your f16 fans that finally f16s have taken a back seat to j10s after 4 decades . I am hoping that the air chief will fly j10 and not f16 in republic day fly past
Nothing to be sorry about, its a proud moment that we are finally free from US arm twisting and can align more closely with our neighbor, friend and strategic ally which is way more dependable and shares the same security threats

Oh I agree with you in that sense, they do uphold being a professional military in terms of warfighting capacity even if their mindset and intentions are what they are

And a tad bit with the apples comment 🥲

Yes our love story with f16 finally ends . It serves us well and really penetrated the psyche of Pakistanis. Every kid, every bus driver proudly displayed f16s and watched keenly as the air chief came low for the March 23 fly past. Neither mirage nor f104 nor f86 took such a deep place in the Pakistanis hearts and minds. Indeed Americans built a great plane and it did wonders for us. Thank you general dynamics and acm shamim for giving us this wonderful plane but time to move aside. I wonder if j10 can take the same place as f16 did in the avg Pakistani’s heart and minds ..I doubt it

No doubt it was and still is a beautiful machine optimized for dog fighting, but the war fighting has come a long way since then now you need network centric missile carriers with low observability and fuel economy to stay longer on the station and JF17 fills that role quite beautifully, only if had slightly more powerful engine and slightly bigger airframe to carry more internal fuel it would have been way much better than the F16's.

Hi,

Right till the end---F16 lovers really hated the JF17's ---and always tried to put it down---.
