Education: State of Schooling in Pakistan 🇵🇰

PPP and PTI have some explaining to do. Another wasted decade by Sindh and KPK.

I hope Punjab can reach 85% by 2030. That would have a big impact on society. Every % means it becomes more civilized.

The youth should use the power of Internet to educate themselves in far flung remote areas or in general.
But they are too busy scrolling tik tok ,watching viral leak videos and ultimately 💦💦💦💦

With the vast network of internet services provided in said far flung remote areas of the country?

That's not how education works.

Karachi deserves its own administrative unit if not a province or else our greatest human resource asset in Karachi would continue to suffer under the fiefdom of PPP
PTI might just be over hyped by whatever good khattak did initially
@RealNapster
I can take all the war and instability into account but even then

You forgot merger of Fata with KPK ? Fata is a region with almost no school infrastructure. It was obvious that fata region will reduce KPs overall HDI, and Literacy.

If you exclude FATA regions, KPs literacy rate was 55% in 2022. Less than 57% in 2019 though.

Pakistan needs adult education on war footings. Running government schools in 2 shifts (adult education in second shift). Compile a 6 month extensive course for adults (18+ years age) after completion and passing of which, one should be given primary school certificate. Every province needs to educate a million adults atleast each year to increase the literacy rate quickly.

Imagine if every child went to educational institutes as good as the one you went to, everyone would be sitting on millions.

I don't agree with the theory that Pakistani Muslims are backward because they are descended from lower-caste Hindu converts.
In India, Hindu, Sikh and Christian Dalits have progressed. Meanwhile, Indian Muslims remain the poorest and least literate community, only slightly better off than Pakistani Muslims, largely due to India's overall development. When it comes to cognitive abilities, Indian Muslims as a community show patterns similar to Pakistani Muslims. I'm not referring to a few exceptional individuals, but to the broader trends seen across the community as a whole.

Even in the Western world—take the United States, for example—Hindus are the wealthiest, while Muslims from India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are the poorest.

Yep, PTI especially. All that talk of Naya Pakistan and after 10 years the kids in your province are even more illiterate?!
