Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

I don't see no point in guessing why the different players act the way they do, we normal people have no insights, so its just a waste of time and energy...
That just shows Iran is such an important player in the world. We need to understand how it makes its policy and its execution, even if we have to resort to guessing.

😅 Well I don't think "we need to" 😁

Nothing what we write here will have any impact on the real life. The think tanks will certainly not come to this forum and heed our advices ;)

But if you feel the desire to guess, go for it....I think it's only worth to debate about things we have (near) certainty about, everything else is just a waste of time and energy....

A non-nuclear state can never be ruthless and forceful in its response to a nuclear state. Sad but true.
All the reason why Iran should go nuclear and do it quickly. Then Israel would scratch its head and wonder if it just screwed itself. It is probably more effective than suffering through a war of attrition.

"we" as a general term, not just you and me.

Ok, I will tell you my opinion about ongoing process and possible consequences... After dismantled Axis and last events, we can conclude that zionists inflicted major, maybe fatal blow to IR... Islamic Republic can hardly find excuse to rising Iranian nationalism, when in the end Iran was left to clash with Israelis toe-to-toe alone...

I am not fully agree that IR was historical failure for Iranian nation, but it would be wise for Iran to completely get out of those Arabian areas, that are accusing Iran for their own limitations...

Probably some preparation for unavoidable reforms in Iran are going on behind the scenes, but any forcefully changes of Khamenei will be disastrous for Iran...redefining of doctrine should be done naturally, and after closing any possibility of aggression by zionists ..
Ok, I don't really disagree with what you said, so maybe you misunderstood my point. My point was only that the current group in leadership has been there for too long, they have gotten old, complacent and lack the energy and motivation and preparation to handle this fight. Think of it logically, any leader/politician anywhere around the world, in any form of government, if they are in power for many decades, they will eventually become corrupt and too comfortable and lazy in their position, they will not have the stamina or ability to lead their country adequately in times of crisis. The old guard that's been there for decades needs to hand over leadership to newer, younger people that are more energetic and motivated, with fresh ideas and approaches to the current crisis, hopefully they can prove to be more competent and able.

I have in no way made any comments on whether IR is good or bad for Iran, or their system of government, or wether it should change or even reform. Frankly thats up to Iranians to determine whats best for them, its their own internal business, I'm not that familiar with it, so I have no opinion on it. But even in the current system, the people who've been there in power for decades have recently proven to be incompetent and should be replaced with fresher, more motivated individuals. That is all I said, you were extrapolating too much from my previous post.

He isn't retarded. Our leaders are retarded that they have put us in this vulnerable position.
He's absolutely right. Iran's sky is wide open now. They could even try a ground invasion of Iran eventually.
You cannot deter a ground invasion of Iran without an air force + air defense and we have none at the moment. His threats should be taken very seriously because he is currently the president of the world's most formidable military.

IRI is reminding me more and more of Assad during his last days

Or Saddam. The pattern is definitely there. And they seem unable to adapt to the situation at all.
Only East Asians seem to be able to adapt to the situation and beat Westerners, like how China fought the US-UN to a standstill in Korea and how Vietnam chased out the US forces. Japan's Navy also defeated the Russian Navy once before.

Why can East Asians do it but not West Asians/Arabs/Middle-Easterners?

Day 1 was disorientating for Iran.

Maybe they need to think about a "dead hand" type of setup whereby in case of another attack they are able to launch 500+ missiles in one day?

The next attack won't be a slow build up either, it will be relentless. Israel knows it can't do it alone so will now probably push for a joint venture....with relentless stealth bomber runs 24/7.

We know that Israel will only stop if their population centres take major damage so this needs to start from day 1.
