Iran needs at least 300+ 4.5 gen fighter jets to ensure complete safeguard of its airspace and waters

For a country like Iran, it also needs a light aircraft carrier with carrier based aircrafts and helicopters, but this is currently not an option for Iran and under sanctions

Israel with the help of US+NATO+GCC will easily shoot down even 100s of Irani fighters, I think thats the reason Iran opted for missiles instead of an airforce, and another reason was sanctions, no one would sell modern aircraft to Iran.

It will probably take a decade to build a decent airforce and thats when Iran is allowed to buy whatever they want, and I am not willing to bet a penny Israel will let Iran work on their military in peace for 10 years.

No need for an aircraft carriers, better off spending that cash on a 5th gen stealth platform that can go hunting after air-to-air refuellers. Iran just needs to protect its airspace so that its missiles can do the talking, and it needs to deny Israel logistics chain over Syria and Iraq for long range missions for the IAF with stealth. 2-3 squadrons will get the job done of making the air-to-air refuellers an endangered species.

I have proposal, they already have a low RCS drones, Built a jet engine Drone with a small radar homing variant that can operate at high altitude. with Intel send them to the areas/Arc where their tankers operate. the drone should be electronically silent and only when it's in target area its homing radar should activate.

i am thinking of AIM-54 type/ fakour 90 type homing head/warhead.

yes the idea is crude but can make life hell lot problematic/expensive if its operating in numbers over Iraq/Syria even Jordan.

Tankers have large RCS, they are not maneuverable. if somehow Iran could develop kamikaze air to air drone which can operate 1000km from its Border. autonomously it can become serious threat to Entity Air force operations over Syria/Iraq for sure.

Key requirement is range, jet engine, capability to operate 10-40k Altitude, low RCS for starters

2nd Homing Radar/warhead/INS

3rd Requirement is Numbers!

This will force Entity to invest first resources in swatting the drones, forcing force multipliers to operate further back, thus cutting the reach.

Satellites are too far to be jammed. You jam the receivers close to or on the ground.
