Chinese Economy: General News, Updates and Discussions

Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit (to fulfill the quota).

Thanks for the invite, but Americans go ahead and build a G2 with the Indians, who love that one.

The Chinese seek a multipolar and balanced world, we want G200, not G2.

Indians please quit BRICS and SCO, you deserve G2 and should not remain in BRICS and SCO anymore.

China is in different league. It should not be grouped with India, Brazil and Russia, unless a group of alliance (then India is at odd). China is even in different league to the US.

That's not true.

China does not want an organization where it has the same voting power as Somalia or Angola. The whole point of becoming powerful is so you can control your own destiny and not become hostage to global consensus.

The only reason China and Russia started BRICS is because they could not take on the US by themselves -- the same reason the EU was started by France and Germany. If China feels it can deal with the US as equals all by itself, why would it want to be hampered by other countries?

The usefulness of the BRICS is to replace the G7 and to replace the old order of the financial countries with a new world order represented by the industrial and raw material countries.

China will not be the next America, and the world does not need a new America. Only a multipolar world is stable and secure.

The job -- and goal -- of the Chinese government is to look at China's interests not the world's. If a hegemonic setup, with China replacing the US as the unchallenged superpower, suits China then it will pursue that policy.

However, since the US is unlikely to disappear any time soon, China and the US may decide to set up an informal G2. Trump already views the world as a G3, with US, China and Russia being the only countries that matter.

G3? Perhaps you will see the world's three giants sitting together at China's military parade in September.
But they are not carving up the world. Just put the pause button on the impending world war.

People like Trump uphold the typical rules of the jungle, and he's always thinking that a few big guys should work together to bully other little guys. But Chinese culture is not like that, and we know very well that Trump's approach is extremely short-sighted, and will only lead to the corruption and degeneration of the big guys, eventually dragging the entire human civilization down with him. What you say about having China replace the US is also impossible, we can't afford to pay the price of maintaining the entire world order. If we force this, we will inevitably get the same end as the US. A multi-polar world is the only correct answer, and only a multi-polar world will allow human civilization to continue to grow and develop.

All these acronyms are irrelevant, China needs bilateral agreements and financial and tech platforms for offering to any country interested and in need for such.
You do not bound countries with inks but with common shared values and concrete interests.

Lol, G2 of US and China is only American fantasy, and in such arrangement, US is number 1 and China is number 2, not equal. I don't think Chinese has any interest.
