PAF J-35AE - News, Updates and Discussions

Chinese president had told the US a couple of years ago that by 2027, China might attempt to retake Taiwan.
This is absolutely fake news.
This is totally not the Chinese way of expressing politics. People who use this kind of expression have no chance at all of entering the Chinese political circle.

The Taiwan issue is no longer the core issue of the CCP. It is just a buffer zone between China and the United States in the future world leadership competition. In other words, the Taiwan issue is a springboard for China and the United States to compete for world leadership.

There is no doubt that the world leader is the United States now, but China has brought unprecedented pressure to the United States. However, because of the Taiwan issue, the competition between China and the United States has enough buffer. (Whether either side fails in the competition between China and the United States, he has enough reasons to appease his own people. Both sides will not develop to the point where they need to launch the Third World War.)
Otherwise, China and the United States will fight face to face. Both sides have no way out. This can easily lead to very, very serious consequences...

From a purely military perspective, the strength of a synthetic group army of the PLA is enough to eliminate all regular military forces in Taiwan. Then, we will send PAP in to annihilate the remaining small groups of stubborn elements and maintain a smooth transition in the entire Taiwan region. In a few years, people all over the world will completely forget the existence of the ROC.
These robotic manufacturing lines can be reprogrammed to produce system X after a run of system Y has completed.
1. J-20 is a product of CAC, and J-35 is a product of SAC. Although CAC and SAC are both members of AVIC, the two companies are competitors.
2. The production processes of J-20 and J-35 are different. This leads to completely different production lines. ------ You can find out through comparing high-definition photos that their surface craftsmanship is very different.

Taiwan is a Chinese territory, not a boxing arena for the US. China should not let Taiwan going astray and that's what the Yanks want.

I think China is now producing four J-20s per month. They could do same for J-35.
Why is production so low? I remember reading they are producing around 100 J-20s/yr last year and they are adding more production lines soon. Did they reduce production rate or was that false information?

Yes. I completely agree with your point of view. However, point of view is not equal to fact.

The objective reality is:
1. Although most countries in the world say "Taiwan is Chinese territory", they do not fully agree in their hearts. At least, in many practical matters, they treat mainland China and Taiwan differently.
2. At present, the Chinese government and the CCP do not actually govern Taiwan. We are still in a state of de facto division.
3. Whether it is the ruling DPP, the opposition KMT, or the more general Taiwanese people, the majority of Taiwanese residents do not recognize the Chinese government led by the CCP.

In mainland China, the broader public opinion is to retake Taiwan by force. I also fully support the use of force to resolve the Taiwan issue (Force is always more reliable than negotiation.).
But we also need to look at this issue from a broader perspective. If we use force to resolve the Taiwan issue, the United States and Japan will inevitably take some actions. Even weak India will take the opportunity to stir up trouble on the western border. Therefore, we need to elevate the Taiwan issue to a higher level to deal with it.

This is seriously off topic. Let's end it.

It was increased from 4 to 8 J-20s per month, 96 per year.

If I had some extra time, I'd dig that news up for you. I heard it first hand on CNN.
Here is Foxnews, and Forbes for you. Two top western outlets and only post credentialed news. I don't think the Director of the CIA will have misinformation or even a mistake in the news because he has to present it to the US Government.

"China's Xi has ordered military to be ready for Taiwan invasion by 2027, CIA Director Burns says"

He would never said that, in fact, the whole 2027 thing was made up for "Chinese threat", we are in a long race with the Yankee in every fields, it's not about retake any land.

Everyone knows that China's a direct competitor to the US and West in general. No one hides it. But this 2027 preparation intelligence based news and what you are saying are two different issues

As long as it involves news about China, nine out of ten news articles on CNN are nonsense. There is no credibility at all. In China, people regard CNN as a joke. When they laugh at others for lying, they will say that you are the same as CNN. CNN has a bad reputation in China.
A Chinese president openly told a potential enemy country that he would retake Taiwan in 2027? Shouldn’t a normal person’s first reaction be to keep this national secret? Can you believe such low-level rumors?

Look, let's be practical. The media especially the American media takes a lot of their information from intelligence services of the US. Its the same in majority of the world.

You and I are on internet. Our opinions are one thing but you can't make these major claims like "CNN is wrong", BBC is wrong. Because it doesn't suit the Chinese narrative.

I'm telling you, as a Chinese, I'm telling you straight out that most of the news about China on BBC and CNN are lies. You are wrong!

As a Chinese, I have more say than you about the authenticity of CNN and BBC's news about China. What kind of media are they? Can’t criticize if there are mistakes? What's more, they often lie.

Yanks keep make up the D-Day for Taiwan. Few years ago, it was 2024 and 2025 to coincide with US election, now 2027 to coincide with 100 years of PLA, and next they will change to 2029 to coincide with 90 years of PRC.

I am wrong, the entire Western media is wrong because and one Chinese citizen is right.

Bro, it doesn't work like that. It's like me saying "as a Pakistani, I am right and GEO and ARY are wrong". When these two are massive media organizations. However connected I may be, I can't beat them.
Let's agree to disagree.

that timeline is purely nonsense, nobody would tell you such a thing like a timetable, schedule, you don't need any "credible source" or "intelligence agency", just some common sense.
