Pakistan-India Conflict 2025: News Updates and Discussion

Sir,

The real brain behind PAF greatest kill chain on May 6th/7th was AWACS flying behind the PAF jets and feeding them the most critical data from Enemy Jets like electronic ID taggings, tracking and locking for BVR strikes....Hence that asset was playing the most important part....

Now in the next round....Indians would try their best to take out SAAB 2000 as soon as they see it in air....that would significantly reduce the PAF previously proven strategy.

Also note that this time IAF, will remain in defensive mode ...they will not send strike missions any more until IAF regain confidence.

They will rely primarily on missile strikes that go beyond the Bhramos kind.
While your concern may be valid, but I think you give them too much credit.

Their sheer incompetence and stupidity has no limits......i mean, just look what they did with Rafale and S400......lolz

Wait, I though India intercepted 100% of Fatah rockets? Now print will have to change narrative again after today press conference.

Collectively they are mentally losing it, even at 4 star officer level. What is going on over there!?

Is it true, today they blamed China and Türkiye for their loss?
Yes, the poor Lt general who is making those remarks, is saying we have two front war.....China mudslinging India...in his delulu world, he still thinks India has chance of fighting China......LMAO

Basically, he said, that we are testing ground for Pakistan and China, we are target practice for them..........:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Pakistani military warfighting DNA coupled with Chinese bleeding cutting edge technology and infrastructure backing.

This is an immovable object.

India would be wise to make peace with Pakistan and withdraw from Kashmir as a peace offering.

100% true, thats the only way now.

Some points to be considered here:
  • Pakistan should INSIST on holding interviews in Urdu ( chaste Urdu), just like the Chinese and Turks hold interviews in their own language. Russians do exactly the same.
  • India has a sophisticated English savvy motivated media Hindutva group who use the English/Indish language as a tool
  • There is a reason for Indians to have a passing competency in Indish (not Queen's English). India does not really have a functioning link language. South Indians refuse to communicate in Sanskritized "Shudh" Hindi and their accented ungrammatical Hindi is lampooned by North Indians. South Indians prefer to communicate in English/Indish forcing most upper class Indians to acquire some proficiency.
  • Which is why the Indian Parliament is the only Parliament in the world that has interpreters. Members of the Indian Parliament wear headphones which they often remove and hurl at each other when the translation is delayed or distorted.
  • Pakistan has a fully functioning link language which is Urdu; which makes learning conversational English unnecessary. While Pakistanis are competent enough in the English language to use it for Information Technology, Engineering, Medicine, Law, other professions including most importantly Defence Services communications. Pakistanis however very seldom converse in English. The Pre-Partition generation had to communicate with the rest of India so their English conversation skills were adequate and equivalent to their Indian counterparts. Today there is really no need.
  • There is no need to play the "Indian" language card. Get Indians to hire interpreters and talk in Urdu. One person who did this very effectively was former Chief of Army Staff Mirza Aslam Beg, Hailing from Azamgarh Uttar Pradesh ( now the Hindutva Cow Belt heartland) his Urdu was flawless. Even though his English was excellent General Aslam Beg effectively beat Indian and Western reporters at their own game by speaking in Urdu. Another person who adopts this strategy is Russia's foreign policy spokesperson Dmitri Peskov who speaks in Russian even though his English is excellent. It would be nice to see Srinivasan Jain struggle with words trying to speak to Oriya Maqbool Jaan.
@Meengla @Corax @Master Chief
Certainly, India's linguistic limitations - which are self imposed due to their north/south divide - could be interpreted as a weakness in their communications strategy.

However, the major informational (or disinformstional) deployment for India remains that which is rendered in the English language and is deployed for external audiences.

Pakistani spokespersons would benefit from giving more interviews in Urdu, no doubt, as you have implied, to shore up the actual accuracy and reliability of our media responses and reduce the risk of language errors ("lost in translation" moments). Some recent gaffs do spring to mind.

However, there are 3 points to make here:

1. A fully operational English language communications option remains vital for Pakistan's strategic aims, I.e. delivering easily intelligible and easily disseminated counternarratives to Delhi's propaganda at the global level.

2. Major global media organisations may not be willing to go too far in using interpreters routinely for Pakistani news items.

3. We, as a community, do actually have enough proficiency with the English language to retaliate against Delhi's global narratives. Shashi uncle isn't the only south Asian who can wax lyrical and schmooze his way through a completely western audience. We just need to deploy the right people for the job. Bilawal is a good starting point from a govermental point of view. I have seen footage of non-aligned individuals, like Rabia Akhtar of the Atlantic Council, delivering stinging monologues in defence of the realm. Even Imran Khan had certain useful qualities in this regard.

Finally, your point about deliberately speaking to international press in Urdu, regardless of having excellent English proficiency, is really an interesting one, but at the moment, I think - as long as we use the right people for the job - there is more to be gained from using English where possible.

The day China actually intervene directly, it will end status quo in IoK and Zangnan.

Indian general mentioned Chinese weapons but forget to mention French, Israel, Russian and American weapons India used and still lost.
