Hopefully CAS has not got suicidal thoughts and has not asked for US ground Radars - the same US radars which the US conveniently SWITCHED OFF during OBL raid in Pakistan. Pakistan Military was in the dark.

what ground equipment would that be? Can't be SAMs.....could be Radars only.......

Also, aren't BLK60s old by now and superseded by BLK72/V versions?

UAE could offer these on the condition PAF arrives with them in UAE when needed......and also help with DACT to other UAE squadrons....lots of stuff...all up in the air until something materializes.

UAE F-16s could be cheap or free of cost...thats the advantage i can see top of my head...

Not that cheap .. why they provide there capable platform F16 (which still quite mear block 70) .. free or at cheap ? Mostly probably they are not going sale them in near future until some advance replacement arrived

Australia is purchasing 200 AMRAAM C5/8s and 200 AMRAAM Ds for a total of 1.3 billion...that's about 3 million a piece.......so why would PAF want to spend that much on just the missiles......too high a price.....

If there any substance in buying of used f16 airframe.. then iraqi block 52 make sense or even Egypt block 52:to some extend as both lack BRV capabilities

But these jet cost plus additional v package... Updates will be too costly

Sir, every country has its own priorities. At the moment Russians need money for there falling economy . Indian would be there first choice for milking.

Han to our priority is defense and we can sell our F16s to Ukraine if we wanted to.

Instead of blk60 f16 that will not come for another 10 years... is paf need eaay fix to its f16 fleet get Iraqi f16 blk52, ask usa to deliver 8 f16 blk52 that paf initially orders that will make 60 bl52 f16.. get agreement from usa to upgrade these 60 to blk 70 over next 5 years in turkey.

On the old forum, someone mentioned seeing them being upgraded in the US.
Maybe it was @Raider 21 ?
