Trump card patriot missiles wont be a game changer in my opinion.
Shahed-Geran 2 can be used at max altitude 5000m instead of its usual 50m. At 50 m geran can easily be taken down by an fpv drone, rifle or a hand gun with almost 0 cost. At 5000m only high end missiles can reach 5000m effectively or airforce need to shoot them down at that altitude. Patriot missiles would be used to hunt these drones raising the costs.
But this doesnt mean Russia would win either. Especially with Russian high casualty assaults with little or no strategical gains they wear themselves 5x more than the defending Ukranians which is unsustainable even for Russia. Ukraine retreating from some small areas or villages won't be of any value when they are taken back by Ukraine a few weeks-months later and massive Russian losses would be of no value when those areas are lost again. Ukraine losses are of mostly fpv drones in those Russian high casualty assaults. In Ww1 and Ww2 infantry assaults were decisive but now they are not efficient at all. The change of paradigm which is fpv drones and similar new survaillance technologies needs to be accepted by the military planners.
Also Usa can transfer older decommissioned cheaper hawk sam batteries for high altitude defense for Ukraine as well as modernized F4-F5 with bvr capabilities other than the f16s. They can be somewhat effective after the recent delivery of 2 Saab awacs to Ukraine. Things can get more difficult for Russia in the air in the long run.
It wont make Ukraine win but Russia wont win either. Russia also has other enemies and if their military is weakened enough internal issues will also resurface in peripheral areas like chechnya. They would gain Donbass to its full borders but lose Chechnya and Daghestan completely later on because of this high loss temporary gain strategy.
It is better for Russia to go for an immediate ceasefire with some limiting items on Ukranian airforce to not to build again and challange Russia with external aid during the ceasefire. For example for the ceasefire to take effect Ukraine airforce can be limited to 40 fighter aircraft for 5 years then increase 1/10 for every Russian additional aircraft inducted to Ruaf for another 5+ years and so on. Non nato membership is not an issue since Ukraine leadership has to give up 4 regions fully and legally accept them under Russian control to apply for nato membership which is not possible. Ukraine wont be building nukes either if proper checks are put on their nuclear sites.

There are many advisors who know what Russia should do to improve its situation. However, who benefits from this? Why does the United States itself not act in the best interests of the situation and continue to supply Ukraine with weapons? The war would have ended long ago if the West had stopped supplying Ukraine with weapons.

Actuailly it suits Usa-Britains interest to wear down Russia in this war with the lowest cost possible for them. So ending the war was not their priority naturally. Only recently zelensky started playing the tune of wanting the ceasefire after trump who partially wants to achieve this to get a peace prize then to attack mideast nations more aggressively afterwards for israels benefit and maybe use this ceasefire as a bargaining chip for Russia to stay silent.
I see Russian current insistance on taking control of full donbass borders not beneficial for Russia as well. It will prolong the conflict with high losses that would wear down Russia in the long run making it open for internal destabilisation attemps. Strategic points are already under Russian control and the land bridge protecting supplying Crimea is already established. Another risk is Ukraine getting further equipment like old modernised bvr jets F4-F5 in high numbers and challange Russian donbass positions much more effectively with higher quantity F16s within a year or so while continiously wearing down Russian manpower with fpv attacks-slow retreats.
West will not stop supplying Ukraine with weapons but with a ceasefire agreement current gains of Russia can be preserved and Russia can limit what high end equipment can be supplied to Ukraine during the ceasefire like placing upper limit for fighter jets(future stealthy a2a drones as well).

actually Putin can stop this war immediatly. but he won´t. he recently explains why.

If Trump can come to Moscow.
what Putin wants is to have the same respect level like China.
he sees Russia is a giant country, giant natural resources, giant army, giant nuclears. why nobody respects Russia, but all considers Russia as a cheap gas station.
He rules Russia since 25y, but blaming himselves seems not on his mind.
How about spending less on propaganda, and spend money in making some electric cars? people will have respect toward Russia.

These are some political reasons he told about in the public interview. These can change pretty fastly. The primary military strategic objective was securing Donbass and Crimea with a land bridge. It is achieved but on the long run since Ukraine leadership is there and getting supplies-training from west this achievement is at high risk. So the best would be for him to freeze the conflict with Ukraine with a ceasefire agreement that limits western supplies to not to challange Russian current gains later on. Ukraine wont be recognising the areas(so no nato membership that is a good thing for Russia) and wont be attacking Donbass or buffing up with high end western supplies(F16-F4-F5 etc.) either. That is if he puts Russian interests at the front. Maybe generals tell him also with fear of failure that they can gain full control of Donbass with high losses and similar but an objective analysis shows otherwise looking at the slow frontline changes with high manpower-experience loss which cannot be replaced by Russia.

he says what he wants multiple times in public. he even writes assays about his endgame.
I wonder why people always tend to say otherwise.

I've read a couple of your posts. You are out of touch with reality and only write one way as if you are from Ukraine.
Putin wants a buffer zone, which is half the Ukraine, between Russia and Ukraine's other armed half that will become NATO. Putin doesn't want Ukraine to join NATO but that will happen within a year of war stopping. Ukraine going NATO brings NATO to Russia's doors. No early warning for Russia. The French, British and others can attack Russia / Moscow within 1-2 minutes while they sit far away under multiple air defense umbrellas. That's the reality.
But Putin needed to convince Trump on finding a solution so both sides would get what they want. Playing games with Trump won't help Putin. Trump is about to start providing ATACMS bigger brother missiles that have long reach. So the war could now shift to large attacks inside Russia. Putin should wake up and instead of getting to a point to lose the war, he should work with Trump towards a ceasefire.

Putin believes he is a Mullah he can make what he wants. not going to work. even as Mullah he can´t make x or y country as buffer zone. everyone here in Europe are afraid of russian hooligans and rapists. that´s why ALL run into the NATO. thats why they erect fences, they buy more weapons. Germany buys US missile system Typhoon. range 2,000km. Ukraine will get them as well. I am just a neutral observer.

as I said be a neutral observer. This russian war against Ukraine is nothing more than the japanese war against China. I can tell 100 similar wars. one side wants to exterminate other side. Just the excuse is different.
in the case of Putin, his motivation is hatred. He rules Russia for 25y, he will rule Russia for another 25y. by then Russia remains a cheap gas station. Nothing will change. I am not sure if that is of the best interest of Russia.
its better I don´t comment the hatred between Pakistan and India.

Footage of strikes by Russian Kh-101 cruise missiles with cluster warheads in Chernivtsi. The missiles were presumably launched by Tu-95 and Tu-160 aircraft. The Kh-101 missile has a range of up to 5,500 km and a 400 kg warhead.
