Of course they'll lament the loss of their status and power. But the overwhelming majority of the population, the ones that were oppressed by him for decades, are over joyed. And this comes from actual Syrians living in Syrian, from family and friends, not some random "FB friends". - Syria should merge with Lebanon
- Libya should merge with Tunisia
- Turkey should merge with Azerbaijan

- Jemen should merge with Oman
- North Sudan should merge with South Sudan
- Iraq should merge with Kuwait
- Pakistan should merge with Afghanistan
