Simple answer - no major political party crying for democracy has ever been democratic within its own ranks, PTI included. Sooner or later, they turn into personality cults. As alluded to above, it says far more about the qoum itself than the purported leaders.
Pakistani people don't love democracy. It's just a convenient talking point they picked up to defend the personality they obsess over.

Same guy was the establishment's favourite and mocking other politicians until the falling out happened.

Only as long as it means their favourite party is in power, they support democracy. This is also when those who don't support their politics should be attacked. The one with power rules.

At this point, no one cares. just act in favor of the majority population and you can keep your stinkin crown. Better yet dissolve the parliament and remove the facade.

I won't be voting anymore anyway; stopped watching any news from Pakistan; economical or political. Waste of time and energy.

Apna ullu seedha karo baqi jae bhar me. Same energy as 1% elite controlling this nation.

You're being reductionist. Every movement is a cult when sliced deep enough. You need a leader to galvanise people to a cause.

Also; PML (Nawaz) isn't a cult? Its right there in the friggin name. Everywhere I go I see Cutie's face in Lahore lmao; that's what a cult is.
Some people build a following around a set of principles or ideology. This is how it should work in theory and is progressive.

Then others build it purely around a personality and single individual — no matter what he says and does it must be followed. Even if it's the polar opposite of last week. They essentially worship men like cuckolds. The followers of Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan are the same here.

This is in contrast to the western world, if their politicians abandons their ideology, they abandon him. Trump didn't release the Epstein files and was slow on immigration, they all turned on him.

Probably army product defending their corruption

If the army needs to hide or funnel money to buy weapon systems then that is fair game. As we can see it is clearly money well spent.

Other countries have more complex methods of washing their money. Do you know what US do? They send money to Ukraine and other warzones to wash and comes straight back as black money into their highly secretive off the books research projects.

I would urge PTI and their supporters, move away from the topic of the army and their business and focus on the politics.

That being said, his removal was a stupid move by the establishment that inadvertently turned him into a hero and they had no counter to the whole narrative he established, leveraging 'American saazish' narrative very smartly which they didn't anticipate.

They should have simply let him finish his term. But he was pretty much a narcissistic fool with a huge ego that simply refused to take any advice from people who knew better. Was adamant on micro-managing everything on his illogical own whims which was often quite stupid decisions.

Eventually that caught up.

The problem was Fazlur Rehman, Zardari, Nawaz were not listening, they already forced Imran Khan gain confidence Vote from the parliament around May time, but November time again made big noise that Imran Khan lost the majority, Fazlur Rehman on TV was attacking the generals claiming you cannot stop us going for the NCM. All Bajwa did was he refused to protect Imran Khan since both sides were pointing fingers at him, then Zardari Nawaz bought everyone and toppled Imran Khan. What difference would 1.5 years make? Sheikh Rasheed on record told him to dissolve assembles otherwise PTI will be trapped if motion is tabled in the assembly, IK didn't listen and was trapped, then assembly speaker rejected the motion and straight after PTI resigned. Pti needed to resign before the motion, but didnt realise until it was too late, this is why straight after the motion was rejected, pti resigned only for the Supreme court to intervene. They certainly made big blunders, afterwards they resigned from all assemblies and trapped themselves, Pervez Ellahi warned IK but he didn't listen. I wonder who adviced him or was he making decisions himself, crazy. Look at PTI now, despite claiming mandate is stolen they still are not resigning from KPK, lesson learnt :).

The most corrupt class in Pakistan … utterly the lowest of the shit one can find … lawyers and judges …

I am not surprised …with your posts you were showing your class ..

But MAGA would have achieved many of the objectives of its donors, while fooling the voters. PTI achieved none of the objectives Eatablishment had set for it. PTI could not even grasp that their mission was revoking the 18th amendment, which transferred resources away from Center to the provinces. These faujis in their barracks and messes and conferences are completely divorced from realities of Pakistan.

PTI has achieved a LOT of its objectives. I don't want to start explaining and turn the wrath of PTI's members towards me and ruin a sensible discussion. Without economic growth, PTI has made the most millionaires in their tenure. I was close to a few people here and overseas who gave and collected donations, etc. So let that be on the side.

But outside of everything, PTI had so much majority that it could've done A LOT for the people of Pakistan. It's beyond my common sense that all that "unseen" growth and development only stayed in Elon Musk's Twitter building and on other social media.
