What's confusing for me is why Turkey a sunni sufi country supporting wahabissm in Syria, when Syria is all sunni sufi nation, the Kurds are also sunni sufi. I noticed the Syrian Mufti is sunni sufi although part of Ikhwani movement.

Pre Syrian War, there was significant support for Hezbollah in the 2006 war against Israel amongst the Sunnis, of course Hezbollah decided to throw that away for Bashar, so I don't think there will be support this time around, more like indifference. Sunnis are concentrated in Tripoli, far away fro the fighting and in parts of beirut that aren't going to be hit. Israelis targeted the Shia part of Beirut in Dahiya and elswhere.

B/c the govt overall isn't Wahabi, its sunni, without taking a stance. The sheer fact that Sharraa appointed a Shafi Ashari should be enough of that. Yes, there are Salafis in the Army, but that doesn't mean Syria overall is Salafi, nor is the govt salafi.

Syria was toppled by Turkey and Saudi backing of rebels and billions of funding, Usa and others also gave billions of weapons and aid. Today North Syria is controlled by Turkish SNA, central Syria is HTS and backed by Saudis, Kurds and FSA are backed by USA and Arabs, Israel is trying to control south Syria. Agreement has been done between all parties, this is why wahabis have military power and Ikhwanis have some influence, slowly wahabis will increase their control and use state to spread their filth.
