You know him because he is a Pakistani air force cheerleader, but don't assume that this means he is "world renowned". There is obviously a conflict of interest involved here when so much of his income stream relies on maintaining access to insider PAF facilities normally off limits to other journalists who take on a more neutral tone.

1) He never accepts any money from any government
2) He has repeatedly questioned some PAF claims including SU-30 kill in 2019
3) He has worked globally for over 30 years in aviation media, including covering off IAF
4) As well as AFM/Keypublishing he has worked for Flight Global and contributed to major news outlets

So yeah, nice attempt on a hit job that basically backfires by showing your ignrance about one of the most respected aviation journos in the world.

Not really, the claims of 20% of pAF destroyed and Lahore Ports destroyed pretty much defined world class stupidity

Right now what seems to be emerging is that at first the claims of 5-6 jets by PAF were considered exaggereted, what we are seeing is that there is a very good chance PAF under claimed.

Most are not understanding the gravity of situation here.....your top line jets cannot fly within 300km of the border they were procured for.......that is really really deep shit

PAF knew who to show the evidence for 4 rafales claim...Alan Warnes...and there is no way a western person would simply lie....so if he has put it out there for the world to read and see.....then it is 4 Rafales......and it makes absolute sense....PAF could have shot 4 SU30s, Migs or M2Ks......they shot each one of them......and then more Rafales to send a message across because Rafales were garnered with coconuts and vedic pooja.......they thought of rafales as some gods.......came crashing down. This kind of beating does a very weird long standing damage to your psyche.......

4 Rafale jets (once fully proven) will have massive implications.

How each one was downed needs to be studied, but 4 tope of the line 4.5 gen jets lost within an hour does not seem like a few luck shots or even just bad tactic. Technically something must have gone very wrong, either with comms/data link, EW/Spectra, AESA radar on the planes.

This is bad on so many levels. Naturally Rafale sales will take a hit if the above is true. My guess is Dassault want to desperately get to the truth so they can remedy things if it was technical, as it is not just exports but French national security at stake here, they wont care about India being a customer at this stage, stakes are too high. Indians not playing ball with them will cause issues

Again, if fully proven that it is 4, this also creates a sigfnicant dent in their overall availability, over 10% of the fleet wiped out. Means the Amabala Sqd will be signficantly understrength now or both Sqds go down from 18 units each to 16 units each

I never attacked anyone personally but rather just offered a brief reply on equal footing.
