In addition, I heard a crazy claim on whatsapp- India is outfitting(or having people with equipment onboard) its civilian aircraft with imaging systems to use the overflight and "sudden deviations" to capture intelligence on Pakistani deployments.

Yes in those days it made sense....but now, with open source satellite imagery available or private contracted ones, no need to risk this much or get this much desperate to gather intelligence using civilian air liners.

Just makes no sense.

Now using civilian airliners as human shields......that is something Indians can very well do.
