How come? CPEC should have been Death sentence for them already. China can commit more to security. China is an exception that they were willing to work in those areas at first place. Pakistan will have to ensure security all by itself and only then Americans will come. US however, can force india to some extent to stop funding BLA terrorists.

We will also have to balance between China and US. China already have massive investments in CPEC and in Baluchisan ( Gwadar).

We recently discovered 4th largest oil reserves in the world. Before that during IK tenure there was also some news of oil discovered near Gwadar. However we don't have the ability to extract it ourselves.

Well we all hope this to be true. But if we really had discovered 4th largest reserves then there would have been several companies coming here already for exploration contracts. Also if there's any oil discovery near Gwadar, Chinese would have been the first to get there. They built a massive airport there, built port and other infrastructure. US and China are rivals now. They make their moves for their own influence. We have to be wary of Trump's geopolitical moves, we should welcome investment if they are doing it, otherwise don't get carried away by fake promises and never let anybody undermine trust & friendship bw China & Pakistan.

Pakistans major oil deposits off the Makran coast will be a transformational prosperityfor Pakistan.

Even if Oil in significant amount is found ( We hope and pray it does). India will NEVER buy from Pakistan. and We also don't need to sell them.

We only have to fulfill our own requirements of oil. Oil is single most largest import item of Pakistan. We pay massive amount in billions of dollars yearly in oil imports. This import cut will be huge relief for us already. Any exports will be bonus.

China will most likely become our biggest importer of oil. BTW all this talk is on assumption that we have found confirmed oil reserves.

Israel? I don't think Israel has much to do with this. Sure, Americans would like Pakistan to join the Abrahamic Accords but not happening any time soon. Plus there is Iran to deal with.
As for the 'Green cards'. Possibly some compromised civilian and military leaders would 'leak' secrets and that's not unusual in poor countries but on the whole Pakistanis have kept their sovereignty to the point of even conventionally challenged a West-backed India. The recent skirmish with India reflects the many strengths of Pakistan's political and military class; this skirmish and Pakistan's credible deterrence against India is a clear proof that Pakistan manages to 'function' well enough. And if Pakistan's economy was too bad to sustain a war with India then Pakistan wouldn't have engaged with India like it did and willing to 'escalate.
So the state of Pakistan functions, however bad it may seem.
You want to see compromised, cowardly leadership? Look toward Egypt and Jordan. Not Pakistan.

Bro, POTUS also said, Pakistan and india are fighting over Kashmir for 1000 years. He says a lot of things. POTUS is Trump!

But yeah let's hope its true.. We can get countries to invest in Pakistan in other stuff as well. Manufacturing (cheap labor) and IT etc. Do Make in Pakistan initiative. India attracted a lot of american companies over the years. If we really are getting in good terms with americans then invite them to other sectors too.

The Chinese unlike the US are averse to cross border military interventions, and don't want to confront India and insist on fixing the BLA issue through internal means.

Some factions in China are also under the delusion that India is some fellow 'humble' global south nation.
