Personally, I feel Trump is getting frustrated. Indians are playing smart.

The Indians are going to find out now what it means to be in different camps. The Indians have been playing this duplicitous game for a while now. Reaping the benefits from every side and pretending that they are the noble guy. Trump isn't frustrated. He doesn't like to be suckered. India thinks it has intelligent policies. No, it doesn't. India has duplicitous policies and Trump isn't buying it anymore.

Isreal… zero tariff plus hundreds of billions of dollar support fund and weapons
Is the relationship with Israel at ANY point in US history- similar to Pakistan?
Does Pakistan have something like AIPAC?
Is there close coordination like between domestic political players in US and US Jewish lobbies like for Pakistan?

Are they equal for that matter?
Just asking out of curiosity if you considered history in your apples to apples statement?

There is difference between slave and partner. You are one of the smartest brain on this website. It must not be difficult for you to figure it out. Usa is slave of Israel and Pakistan is slave of USA. Which makes us slaves of slave.

We don't jump into deals just to get ripped off like you guys do. You proudly gave 0% tariff access on 4,200 U.S. products, and somehow feel good about it.

India's not here to play sidekick. We’ll make whatever decision serves our interests best.

It is either QUAD or BRICS. It is either the West or Global South. You cannot fool anyone. There is no in between. Donald Trump demands full loyalty from India. You cannot get away with duplicity anymore. The policy of reaping benefits from all sides is over. Did you really think that India was going to fool Trump with current policy? The Americans provide preferential treatment to Hindustan because they expect full cooperation. Do you know why Indians are CEOs of American multinational companies? That didn't happen because the Americans love Indians.

What did I used to tell you Indians? A time will come when the Americans are going to demand full support. That time has come buddy. Now obey Trump's orders and stop pretending that you are sovereign or have any say in the matter. You really don't.

India extracted maximum geopolitical benefit from the US and defacto west.

They legitimized your fake encounters in their media, peddled your fake news and false flags. Distanced themselves from Pakistan. Applied pressure on Pakistan diplomatically, socially and economically.

You extracted everything from this one way relationship. This wasn't just a trade only relationship.

So now they are coming to collect.

Nobody likes a liar or duplicity, I am sure the deep state in the US has greenlit the abuse coming your way from their politics. This was bubbling since 2019.

Unless Trump means Shale gas, Pakistan doesn’t have much proven oil reserves. The Gas is worth trillions of dollars but economically not feasible to extract unless they have found cheaper way to do it.

My guess is.. US wants Pakistan to import oil from the US and less from the Arabs. We import about 18 billion dollars of oil per year if I am not wrong… they want share in the oil imports to balance the trade
nope, Trump is running the country like a business. He wouldn't agree to favorable trade terms based on speculation. It isn't unreasonable to speculate that exploration efforts and results of a follow up feasibility studies have not been made public. Perhaps this was discussed during your head of military's private meeting with Trump. Considering Pakistan neighbors oil rich Iran, Oman and is near oil rich central asian republics I wouldn't be surprised to learn of a substantial find somewhere in Pakistan.

I wish Pakistan all the best and this potential discovery propels her economy and people into a new era of prosperity. However, this should not come at the cost of the environment. I would suggest strengthening environmental protection laws, monitoring and enforcement before any deal is made.

Death by Chocolate,

I hate to disagree with you so I will stop here. But if it was someone else I would have written a long post in reply. I am just going to briefly say something

Pakistan has had many geological surveys in the past. We found several small pockets of oil reserves but nothing significantly large to change our destiny. Pakistan has huge shale gas reserves but that is economically not feasible as yet although with the improvement in technology, it is much cheaper to extract compared to 10 years ago.

Pakistan was very happy when our sea border was extended by 250 miles couple of years ago. Pakistan thought we may find huge oil reserves deep inside the sea and the samples were taken and sent to the USA, but once again failure… it’s not that don’t find oil reserves, but they are not economically viable (not enough).

I only have two theories about this topic and both are logical.

Pakistan imports 16-18 billion USD of oil and pay in cash, that’s like 40% of our total imports… and Pakistan can settle the trade balance with the USA if they start importing oil from the States.

The other theory is technical… Pakistan has many oil refineries but there was a talk about setting up 2-3 more oil refineries in the last 10-15 years. It is possible that USA may set up one oil refinery in Pakistan to target the illegal Iranian oil market. They may favour Pakistan and use it as their hub to supply oil into Afghanistan, Central Asia and even China. This way they will be able to pressurise Iran even more… basically replacing Iranian black oil market with certified legal oil market from the neighbour of Iran.

PS: if the deal was about minerals, I would have believed it as Pakistan is blessed with Gold, Silver and many other rare earth minerals to fulfil the industrial demand of the USA.

Pretty spot on analysis by zionist dalit

I hope you are right and I will be happy to be proven wrong.

My theory #3 is that USA wants to pressure India to choose either US or Russia.

Theory #4 is as you mentioned that maybe they have found oil reserves somewhere but did not make it public. The COAS may have discussed it in the meeting with trump and we may hear about it at a later date. But it is the least likely scenario among the all

Wow, this is new, Pakistanis now accusing Indian politicians and bureaucrats of being competent and playing 4D chess on the global stage. Honestly, never thought I’d see the day. 😄
