Don't be surprised if that list was made by an indian. A few years back on the old forum, some indians were claiming that india is more powerful and advanced than China based on another obscure list.

Even a 9 year old ANYWHERE in the world knows that the Chinese airforce is WAY WAY ahead of that of india.

Actually I sympathize. In fact I support your overall efforts.
Soft leftists have become irrelevant in India. Left and Left of Center intellectuals are now desperately trying to avoid an impending war and catastrophe by trying to maintain a "people to people " contact; a throw back to the "Aman ki Aasha" days. They are hoping against hope that people on both sides will eventually come to their senses.
Much water (and blood) has flowed down the Ganges and Indus since.
Opposing viewpoints:
  • In Pakistan no one wants war and we are heavily burdened with serious economic and political issues. A devastating war is the last thing anyone wants. However we will fight an existential struggle to the last against an aggression.
  • In India the population views Pakistan ( along with Bangladesh and the minorities population within India) as a target in a larger long term war being waged to avenge 1500 years of grievances
Given the two completely differing viewpoints I don't see any reason for a sustained peace
