EU dependency is a historical issue. People in Europe have paid through their noses over the disruption of Russian energy in the form of huge energy bills. One of the main reason mentioned by the bank of England when they raised the interest rates due to inflation caused by Russian energy dependency. I dont need to remind you energy links between EU and Russia post Ukraine war

Whereas India is just trying to profit out of this war. India is not dependant on Russian energy.

Russia is only an excuse.

Trump hits so many setbacks with China, and he is just venting all his frustrations on India.

He is also pissed at Russia for being reluctant to join his anti-China coalition.
 
Trump is uniting the West against India.

This isn’t just a diplomatic hiccup this is a strategic policy change with long term and extensive implications.
