Indians are hilariously assuming that they are some kind of super powers. US can literally break india's economy if it comes to that. India is a energy-dependent, technology dependent country in a world where whole system is carved out by the US. Only China / Russia have a national power & capabilities to circumvent US blockages.

The multi billion dollar indian IT industry will collapse instantly if US goes really hard on them. Unlike China, India uses all US based software / services from emails to social media everything. The 700 or so billion reserves which indians flaunts can be blocked instantly by US.




LOL, China is going to take more land of india as a result of this "unity".

China has got its own ecosystem to sustain its statehood. If tomorrow US disappear from the face of the earth, China wont even take notice of it. I cant say for other sectors, but many many years ago, me and my colleagues had our first and only experience on huawei routers. Exact copy of the Cisco IOS. But, taking on Trump on twitter is an unadvisable thing. Because, one has to fall to lowest levels to create sensationalisation with no direct benefits.
Even China never replied to his tweets, even when he addressed Xi directly. No other world leader has done that because they know that he can go to any level for sake of publicity.

Impact on an economy is just one side of the story. You also need to consider the pain tolerance. India could succumb with an impact that is just a tiny fraction of that to China.

But, taking on Trump on twitter is an unadvisable thing. Because, one has to fall to lowest levels to create sensationalisation with no direct benefits.

It took several rounds of escalation between China and US before Trump began to understand China. Let's see how many rounds India would last. Now, it is round one.
