Actually Europeans should appreciate that India and China buy Russian oil. It helps avoid inflating oil price in the open market. If India and China don't buy Russian oil, Europeans would have to pay much more for the oil and gas they consume. These ungrateful bastards.

Indians are hilariously assuming that they are some kind of super powers. US can literally break india's economy if it comes to that. India is a energy-dependent, technology dependent country in a world where whole system is carved out by the US. Only China / Russia have a national power & capabilities to circumvent US blockages.

The multi billion dollar indian IT industry will collapse instantly if US goes really hard on them. Unlike China, India uses all US based software / services from emails to social media everything. The 700 or so billion reserves which indians flaunts can be blocked instantly by US.

I dont think it is about IND buying Russian oil at all. They want to arm twist IND into doing some things, which is not clear at this point of time. Perhaps get Indian military aid for some military operation.

As I said earlier, it is typical predatory behavior of Trump. He is taking on the one in BRICS that needs more help due to the recent conflict. I don't think he really cares about what concession he could extract from India. He cares about being viewed as a winner, particularly after his "negotiation" strategy has yielded nothing from Russia, China and Brazil.

Shut down the student and work visas in the West to Indians and begin offering them to alternate labor, including Pakistanis. It was a lie that only Indians can do these IT and engineering jobs.
