On contrary, in Islam, a male of age must have LEGAL MARRIAGE before intercourse and the spouse given full rights, including the right to divorce, right to be treated well, clothed and protected by the husband.

What you refer to could be a misconception from many muslim kings and leaders through history practising having a harem. Which isnt technically disallowed in islam, like it isnt disallowed i any other major religion i know of, including christianity and judaism.

OTOH in present secular laws, any man is technically allowed to create a de-facto harem without any commitment from marriage or any correspondent obligation. I had a friend who was sleeping with 4 women at the same time. Luckily he didnt knock up any of them. But its certainly a issue in certain countries. Yep, what they want is docile obedient brown and black slaves who serve up their women as whores for the white man to pump out little half breeds who serve their culture

to answer OPs question, i think its several things

- political opportunists
- self-hatred projected onto another minority
- zeitgeist of the far right and rigt wing talking points
- attempt at compensation (rooted in self hatred) "Look at me! Am NOT black! Belive me im white!"
- lack of self-awareness

Another angle which hasnt been discussed here is that many of these women might in fact have a racist and abusive spouse. These women then deflect their inner pain onto others (projection).
