Lebanese state didn't even secure Israeli compliance with the ceasefire deal and now wants to risk civil war by attacking Hezbollah rather than doing anything about Israel's daily bombing of Lebanon

pro-Hezbollah demonstrations break out across all of Lebanon

Hezbollah statement:

No one can disarm Hezbollah.

The decision to disarm Hezbollah is just ink on paper.

Talking about disarming Hezbollah is pointless and will not be implemented.

We will not hand over our weapons nor surrender to American and Israeli pressures.

Unfortunately they will. Hezbollah supporters will still have some guns for themselves but the military wing as a whole is in process of being disarmed. Especially with Lebanese, UN and Israeli forces having freedom of operation in South Lebanon.

It's not like 2006 a temporary agreement. They think how is the best time to do it. Especially due to regime change in Syria.

I suspect once they're done with disarming Hezbollah some coup/military moves will be made in Syria to get rid of Syrian Islamists or heavily weaken then.

The Saudi led Arab axis/normalization axis are prevailing. Gaza's fate is unknown.

ANasrallah in Yemen will survive. Iraqi factions allied to Iran may as well. But rest of region is changing. Two most important resistance players , or even three : Hamas/Hezbollah/PIJ are under existential threat. It's a hard situation.

UNIFIL has presence in the south because those areas are destroyed and Israel is bombing any attempts to rebuild or return there

but in the rest of Lebanon I doubt the state wants to start a civil war

Hezbollah's statements have been clear and its base won't allow it to give up its weapons

This is starting to look like one wrong move will trigger a civil war if police or army attempt to squash protesters violently Hezbollah will come out behind them this is playing into Israel’s hands sad to say whatever happens Israel wins unless Hezbollah has some kind of ace they’re holding back against Israeli forces this is going to blow up in a very bad way if this does blowup in a bad way lebanons army will attempt to come to the south with idf assisting openly

There won't be a civil war but civil strife which will be enough to paralyze Hezbollah while Israel focuses on degrading their capabilities and US - LA Army - other forces on ground try physically disarming them.

Arabs are going in for the kill -- that is to kill the resistance made up of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah. Which are really the true actors that directly engage and form the ring of fire around Israel, historically.

For them they can settle this Palestinian issue for eternity then pitch to their people that Arab world is in good shape and has to focus on development for coming decades (but they'll never allow it to develop, especially militarily and politically). There won't ever be political rights and democracy.

Abu Khalil Washah, had already been declared dead in November 2023.

I have not observed any significant pro-Hezbollah demonstrations to date, which is quite unusual. They have experienced a substantial decline in support among the Lebanese people, particularly within the Shia community. The critical question is whether this loss of support is sufficient to render them vulnerable to the frail Lebanese state.

However, the armed wing of Hezbollah is a terror organisation and shouldn't exist in the first place.

No, my friend - you're falling for the same old Zionist narrative that history has repeatedly exposed as false.

1- "The Arab world is in good shape and has to focus on development for coming decades"

There is no "good shape" for the "Arab world". They are third-world countries, underdeveloped, colonized, militarily occupied by foreign troops, countries that don't produce anything scientifically on their own and with the vast majority of the population poor and in need. Countries like Qatar, KSA and Emirates have puppet monarchies that are rich while the population is miserable, and also use slaves from Asia to be exploited. These are depressing, bankrupt countries seen as jokes in Western media. Here in Brazil (for example) nobody takes these places seriously: Those "outside the system" see them as puppets and the official media as demonic, selling them as "wrong culture" and reinforcing their weakness in being dominated.
Much of the world is also bankrupt. Here in Brazil, a giant and seemingly wealthy country, the bulk of the population is poor and needy. In Argentina, Mexico, etc., it's even worse.

2- "Arabs are going in for the kill - that is to kill the resistance made up of Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hezbollah."

These countries in the region don't have the power for this, they're mere puppets, and looking at the past where the Zionist elite and American puppets achieved nothing, we see they won't succeed today either. This is just another phase of the war, where Mossad let Palestinians pass through the wall to justify their total extermination at all levels. What will happen here is the same as always: new actors will emerge to confront Zionism in the Middle East, and whoever survives from the old ones will grow stronger (this over the years).

3- "Hezbollah while Israel focuses on degrading their capabilities and US - LA Army - other forces on ground try physically disarming them."

This isn't so simple, we heard the same about the HOUTHIS in Yemen 20 years ago, and today they control the country. A war like this is a war of decades.
