Wiping out these Tashkeels means jackshit if you aren't going after their logistic network it's like treating symptoms, give the PAF a free hand to conduct airstrikes inside Afghanistan even in the middle of Kabul if you have to.
I'm not sure how economical or affordable this really is, but a "drone force" made of around 200 Shahpar 3s and about 50 Akincis purely for dealing with threats that aren't India might be something worth considering.

This can leave our manned heavy fighters exclusively for conventional ops against India. Drone force does counter terrorism ops and Afghanistan campaigns.

@Panzerkiel Not sure if this is affordable or being considered

We are using drones, and have enough drones to take out these sob's. The issue is civilians because they entrench themselves in civilian population. If that wasn't an issue, PA could've bombarded the areas to oblivion.

Something serious has to be done about civilian complicity, because we can pick off a few militants here and there for eternity but if these support systems remain and they prevent properly effective action then it's going to be a forever war.

The army should tell them you are either with the terrorists or Pakistan and let them make a choice instead of fence sitting. After that evacuate and obliterate.

Let couple thousand of these sob's to be dispatched to hell. The rest will automatically learn. We can later announce strict punishment. But all that later. The Army said NO negotiations with TTP people, period. Their final fate will teach everything to the one's living there.

They need to follow up on strikes on the towns they have come from. Collective punishment is the only way they will learn.
That would be a war crime. Pakistan isn’t the Genocidal entity called Israel, nor should it attempt to ape their degenerate COIN tactics.

It's completely Islamically justified in war, just see what was done to Banu Qurayza, as they are aiding a war effort by providing support to the enemy.

Nothing to do with Israel or these fake political claims like "war crimes" these are only weaponised against opponents. Just look at the histories of the same countries who define "war crime".

As the level of drone use and technology increases, it's going to be difficult for the Afghans to do anything beyond low level terrorism

So does the commercial and easily available drones that can be used against us. Few decades ago only official militaries of the countries had bird's eye view with their aircrafts / helis. Today militias, small rag tag groups and militants can have full aerial view with small drones. That gives them serious capability of knowing positions of troops and their movements. Plus those small drones can be used as suicide ones.

Afghans will keep doing that as they are being funded by the indians or anti-Pakistan entities to do so. Money is most important factor. There's a lot of unemployment in the region, especially in afghanistan. Economic development and job creation can stop recruitment capabilities of these groups. Otherwise they can send unlimited numbers forever. We are killing them for 20 years and they have not stopped. They have literally unlimited supply. Pakistan should have two prong approach. One go and keep hitting their militants, most importantly militant leaderships. Secondly, do economic collaboration and mutual win-win agreements with Afghanistan. Only that is a guarantee for total peace.

RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed at least 33 terrorists who were attempting to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Sambaza, Zhob District of Balochistan, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release on Friday.

The movement of a large group of terrorists, identified as Khawarij and belonging to the Indian proxy group Fitna al Khawarij, was detected on the night of August 7-8 in Sambaza, Zhob District, near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, the statement said.

Security forces quickly detected their movement, engaged the group, and “thwarted the Indian-sponsored terrorists' attempt to infiltrate,” the ISPR added.

The military also reported recovering a large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the site.

ISPR reiterated that security forces remain resolute and unwavering in their commitment to defend the nation’s frontiers and eradicate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has extended his tribute to the security forces for their successful efforts in thwarting an infiltration attempt by terrorists linked to Fitna al-Khawarij, who tried to enter Pakistan from the Pak-Afghan border in Zhob District.

In a statement, the prime minister praised the forces for eliminating 33 terrorists during the operation. "The brave personnel of the security forces risked their lives to thwart the terrorists' infiltration attempt and foiled their nefarious designs," he said.

Shehbaz Sharif emphasised the nation’s support for the security forces. "The entire nation stands with the security forces in their fight against terrorism," he added.

The prime minister also reiterated his commitment to completely eliminating all forms of terrorism from the country, underscoring the government's determination to maintain peace and security.

There are some scholars that argue that the account you posted about the fate of the Banu Qiurayza is inaccurate.

Regardless, the State of Pakistan is a signatory to the Geneva Conventions and therefore has committed to abiding by the rules of war, which do not support your proposal to engage in collective punishment.
