I am/was a big fan of some of these 'nasheeds' what were co-opted by certain groups.

Simple but killer melodic major progressions, like most national anthems are.. major is uplifting, happy sounding stuff...

Man, those were some brutal conflicts.. they say the hardest toughest Talib/mujh n A-stan were the Chechens..

Back in Chechnya that's where the TOS-1 Buratino made it's presence felt.. thermobaric reprisal, backed by the full writ of the state.. interestingly, many flipped and joined the Russian effort in Donbass, the Vostok battalions, some of the fiercest fighters ever.. technicals, air, atry sapport or not.. those yahoo mujh don't give a shite.. and they're very skillful at keeling you while you try and kill them lol
