Pakistan Rocket Force Command News and Discussions

Will this Pakistani Rocket force role be a saturation attack that will overwhelm any IndianAirDefence systems and essentially render them almost useless? Launching waves of rockets in short order, what ever Indian system they got will only intercept some, and many will get through. Is that idea here?

It may not be replicating the PLA.

I could see it replicate Iran's rocket force to a certain degree, and it would make sense as Iran's rocket force has been extremely successful; while the rest of the Iranian military was in shambles trying to recover, Iran's rocket force quickly and successfully fought back.
The Iranian rocket force is effectively its entire conventional military strength but Irans weakness in other areas like air defence meant that it was essentially open to strikes if the war had lasted long enough it would been whittled down to very low number of lauchers.

Prime Minister of Islamic Republic of Pakistan has officially announced establishment of Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command.

The contact point in today's war has moved further inside territorial demarcations. In fact eye ball to eye ball is not first but last point of hostility.
The domains have shifted on electromagnetic sphere. Mobilization within enemy territory. The two conflicts in Russia and Ukriane have changed the battlefield. The loser will be facing and eating enemy drones in his own bunker, tank or even home. The ziono Iran war further increased the distance and method of attack. Zion used fissures within Iran to cultivate malcontents, equipped with drones to sabotage HVTs, people and equipment... aided by their airforce. Iran used missiles with deadly effects... further honed in coming days with precision, speed, paired with redundancies, launch methods and volley timings along with its pairings will deliver devastating blows... taking out HVTs. Iran however lacks a ground component to their barrages while Pakistan shares a border with India... it is simply the call of the day and guys in charge keeping tabs with shifting nature of war.

Important point what missiles will under there command ...
and how much autonomous actually they will be ...
It would be no different than how artillery is employed. They are part of the operational plans put together at the corps, division and brigade level. Like artillery and armor support is requisitioned, I would think the same would apply to the assets of the Rocket Force.

Pakistan has officially announced the establishment of its Rocket Force Command, modeled on the Chinese military structure.

The newly formed command will integrate Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missiles, and Hypersonic Missile systems, significantly boosting the nation’s strategic deterrence and long-range strike capabilities.
SPD for nuclear weapons, Rocket force for conventional weapons.

Never! The King of the Battle has its place tightly embedded in warfare doctrines around the world.
It won't be the rocket force or drones that will stop a joint armor-infantry maneuver across a wide frontage, rather the SP/Towed artillery.
Rocket force and conventional artillery will have their place for the foreseeable future.
My impression is that rockets are much more powerful, more accurate and as easily deployed. Soon, by nature, they will come down in price.

We'll see...🧐

Makes complete sense. Pak Artillery needs to call on so many other branches to aid its missile capability, having one command to coridnate ISR, targeting, Sat intel, logistics, transport etc makes very good sense

For rockets to be accurate, they require guidance, which adds cost. Artillery rounds are much more economical, simple to manufacture and support.
There is a time and place for use of each.
