Pakistan Rocket Force Command News and Discussions

SPD for nuclear weapons, Rocket force for conventional weapons.
Land based conventional and non-conventional missiles under this force plus easier coordination with SPD for naval, AF, and land based non-conventional triad.
Integration and coordination with PAF and PN.

Attack the arguments kid. Dont try to shoot the messenger. I know exactly what I'm talking about unlike most university kids here.

Yeah, you sure do. You still insist on the CAS being a fully qualified single seat Viper pilot just for the fly past once a year right?

Ok need to understand that.

- Though the idea look similar to Chinese Rocket Force, but I believe Pakistan's main learning for a SEPERATE Command for Conventional Rockets come from Pakistan's own SPD which is also a seperrate command.

- If this guess work is true then it mean it will be under the command of Lieutenant General will have its
1- Own organizational structure similar to SPD
2- War Doctrine
3- War objectives
4- And control mechanism of all the conventional rocket systems of FATAH family.

- It's role and employment will not be similar to the conventional Artillery units of Pak Army but to inflict heavy punishment to India by Targeting Counter Value Targets.

- This mean Pakistan has adopted strategy of targeting "counter value targets in the early stage of war" to degrade the "capability and will of the enemy" to prolong the war

- This also mean Pakistan has strategy to fight "short, swift, yet decisive retaliationary war" against Indian Doctrines of Proactive Operations and Limited war.

- As It will deliver evils & horrors of war right into the High Value Targets situated in the population centers of India.
Therefore Imposed war will not remain limited in term of geography and it's objectives.

- To some extent It will address the instabilities that exists below the strategic level between India and Pakistan as per the "Stability-Instability Paradox Theory"

- It will also force India to rethink it's Proactive and Limited War Doctrines
Sir this is impressive thinking but I've given years of my life to this missile program of ours and I can but only *sigh* at the difference b/w expectations and reality.

Long story short, our current industrial base and production capacities are so out of depth that one cant imagine. We can raise another 10 commands and produce 30 more variants of the same 20 yr old missiles. We needed a national emergency effort in which we 10x our defence budget, expanded the industrial base, and took steps to retain talent. Without that, all doctrines are fancy imaginations.

Progress isnt made with wishful thinking. Where is our talent? It's gone abroad. Our main industries (Nescom, NDC, PMO, etc) are horrible at retaining talent bcz of horrible pay packages, vintage environments, and thick bureacratic culture. As a result, your entire strategic program is basically in the hands of uncles from 2002 batches of UET Taxila, UET Peshawar, etc. The entire organizations are infested with UET uncles who never upgraded since they graduated 25 yrs ago. The % of fresh blood is less that 5% and that too with average guys who couldnt leave Pakistan. Where do you think the R&D will come from? These uncles will give you progress? The reality is that we are still producing vintage stuff with new packaging and almost 100% help from China.

I can go on and on but I hope this drives the point that this is regression instead of improvement.

The logic is simple. There's no progress unless you throw huge money, talent and dedicated people at someting.

Lets cut through the fluff. How many years of exp do you have inside the defence industry we're talking about? If the answer is nil, why should I take you seriously? Only bcz you've been on the internet defence forums for a while?

I think we've established that you have no idea of the real world we're talking about. You visit this forum to feel good and have a good time. Some discussions here could be a bit serious and not meant for teenagers like you.

I'd appreciate if you stop wasting our time and quite ur unsolicited bickering.

Dude, few things. If you really are so mature, why not slap me on ignore or not reply to my messages?

What did I exactly 'spill' here? That how inept and out dated our entire setup is? Even if I was not under an oath, I aint stupid enough to spill out sensitive info anywhere bcz you can easily get caught. There's no anoymity in this age. On top of that, we have a duty towards Allah SWT to not siphon state secrets. Sensitive info is of a very different nature i.e Engineering drawings, plans, missile variants, numbers, launchers, locations, production sites, production rates, and a lot more. We'd never let anyone sniff that. And I dont understand this 'he might be an Indian' obsession with everything. Someone can be a Pakistani and still say things about our missile program that are quite humbling.
