Egypt Future Agency for Sustainable Development signs a partnership with Famsun International
The Future of Egypt Agency for Sustainable Development announced the signing of a strategic partnership with Famsun International, one of the largest companies specialized in the field of agricultural manufacturing and animal husbandry, with the aim of employing the latest technological solutions in land reclamation projects, strengthening the agricultural manufacturing system, and establishing advanced storage silos, which contributes to supporting food security and achieving sustainable development goals in accordance with Egypt's Vision 2030.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by the Future of Egypt Agency for Sustainable Development, Dr. Bahaa Al-Ghannam, Head of the Authority, Major General Khaled Ahmed Salah, Director of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Office of the Director of the Authority, and on behalf of Famsun Company, Jack Chen Jingjun, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Kian Wang Jui-in, International Vice President, Mohamed Mustafa Shantouri, Director of Business Development, and a number of leaders.
This cooperation establishes a comprehensive strategic partnership covering various agricultural and industrial fields, starting with the establishment and operation of grain storage facilities and feed processing plants, through active projects such as the corn products complex and flour mills, all the way to developing agricultural infrastructure in the fields of storage, logistics, oils and animal farms, in addition to desert afforestation initiatives and land reclamation using the latest machinery and irrigation systems The partnership also extends to enhancing African cooperation by transferring successful experiences and replicating sustainable agriculture models in various countries, thus enhancing food security and supporting sustainable development efforts at the regional and international levels.
In this context, Dr. said. Bahaa El-Ghannam, Chairman of the Future of Egypt Agency for Sustainable Development, said that the partnership with Famsun International Company contributes to implementing the agency's strategy towards providing high-quality agricultural products at reasonable prices for citizens and achieving self-sufficiency in strategic goods, through implementing an integrated agricultural system based on implementing major land reclamation projects in Egypt to increase local production and export the surplus abroad, while establishing industrial complexes to maximize agricultural production and strategic silos for storing crops This opens up broader export prospects and enhances our ability to achieve self-sufficiency in strategic goods, as well as creating new job opportunities for young people.
The Future of Egypt Agency for Sustainable Development is implementing one of the most prominent national projects working to change Egypt's agricultural map, and aims to reclaim 4.5 million acres by 2027.
