NEW DELHI: Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Dinesh Kumar Tripathi on Tuesday said the Indian Navy will "open" next time against Pakistan and continue Operation Sindoor if such circumstances arise again.
Speaking in Vishakhapatnam during the commissioning of two new frigates, INS Udaygiri and INS Himgiri, Tripathi said: "In this era of uncertainties and competition, Indian Navy's capability to deliver an overwhelming force at sea is a credible deterrence against India's enemies

"The swift deployment and aggressive posturing of our units held the Pakistan navy captive in a way and forced them to request us to end kinetic actions. Sir, a few days ago, from the deck of INS Vikrant, you had assured the Indian Navy that Operation Sindoor has not ended, and if the need arises again, there is a probability that the opening will be done by the Indian Navy, " the Navy chief said.

An average Indians dedication to war with Pakistan is the reason for me to term this as civilizational stupidity.

Indian government announced a grand scheme of demographic changes to her border areas. This major internal process cannot be undertaken without diverting attention externally.

You don't go to war with civilizational stupidty, you go on a crusade to uproot the civilization.

I think it is to do with high prices of wood and oil for pyres. Millions of indians cannot afford burning of their dead loved ones. They wish for MAD, it is not stupidity but deprivation of highest order that drives them to wish for a war a doomsday scenario, but they do not have someone at helm who can properly see this through and has stomach to carry it to the end.
