Anyone who speaks truth have no place in Andbakhtstan aka Hindustan.
It should comes from someone who knows what he is talking about. Anyone can write a glorified fanfiction doesn't make it real. None of his insinuations are based on historical or archeological facts.
Also is this the Same Hindustan some post named Iqbal talked about?

If it were a Mushrik society it met its natural end by HIS CURSE like so many before and after it. Ba'til is given a prescribed time, and then it's done and gone.....

This video starts off with a couple of misconceptions, actually, more than a couple.

First, about no weapons being found, that is emphatically untrue. Bronze Age weapons have been found in the ruins.

Second, nobody thinks of an Aryan invasion. Contemporary historian consensus is that the steppe migrants entered south Asia well after the final days of the IVC, at a time that the descendants of the IVC had taken to living in squalid little settlements, some within the boundaries of older cities, others outside, clearly unable to organise themselves to maintain the ruins that lay around them.

Third, a valid point - it was a very successful mercantile culture. Every aspect of their existence seems to have been built around the harvesting, storage and trading of produce, not what we would expect to see today, but a radically different mix. A mix in which grain, rice and corn may not have played a role at all, but barley and millets of various kinds were the backbone of their trading, apart from manufactured goods.

Fourth, that mention of ahimsa seems to be without foundation. Merely arguing (wrongly) that the absence of weapons indicated a lack of the urge to go to war, or even a need to go to war, that such an implied lack of such an urge therefore give us room to speculate on an active cultural belief in 'ahimsa' is really straining the credibility of the author. Thus, there are no footballs found near me, football may not have been played, Eureka!, I play basketball instead, obviously.

<groan!>

Let me return to the video.

Devdutt Patnaik is a mythologist not a historian.
He's the same retard who claimed that initially hinus never had temples and we built them when we started having alien visitors(in the shape of UFO's) 🙄 i.e our gods!
That's some ancient alien theory from this guy!
His stories are good, but take his history lessons with a grain of salt
Not to mention the other one is a communist poster boy
Someone from the Indian communist party called IVC as the "ancient communist utopia"!

@StormBreaker nobody till date has replicated the intricate stone work as those temples. Some of them are not even a 1000 year old

Don't get carried away. The process of selling Hindu gods representing natural forces at the outset in the Vedic period, to local rulers by building temples that never existed before, was a clearly visible process.

Hmm maybe it was a part of civilizational build-up? 🤔 But that's just how religions are
Made up stories and structures built around it both stone and societal
We need to take into account how the ancient Vedic religion evolved to become Vedant today and what Ashtavakra noted
These things aside the present government is really keen on building temples samurai-jack-aku.gif
