Iranian Missiles | News and Discussions

wonder why they still accept the risk of buying from foreign vendors
in another country it might be a scandal for the intelligence agencies to hype up the success of the biggest ever security operation to detect sabotaged missile parts then a few months later we see missiles suffer from random failures shortly after launch

maybe its not as dramatic as the plasma trail show
just think in 3d the missile didn't fly in the same plane originally it was coming fairly toward the camera so the dive and rise look a lot sharper than what originally was then when it dive again it made two turn one toward the ground and another toward right side of the photo

There physically can’t be any ‘rise’ at those angles. The physics are clear. The picture shows two trails and Pataramus was corrected with his “pop-up’ comment.

Now going back to 3D perspective, even a horizontal trajectory will be very difficult albeit possible.

The only movement possible is along the trajectory which is prolly sufficient.

Can the vectoring nozzle have enough power to make sharp movements? Can it at that speed?

depends on how it is designed , but a question .
Does kheybar-shekan have vectoring nuzzle like Fattah ,I believe it use its specially designed wingtip on warhead for maneuvering.

If the maneuvering is solely dependent on fins—then IMO a pop up is not physically possible within an acceptable distance.

Which leaves the trick of eye.

Pataremes should stop posting delusional hopium 24/7 for years on end and try to acknowledge reality once in a while

multiple (at least 3) Haj Qasem missiles failed shortly after launch in the recent test launches, possibly due to import of sabotaged faulty parts from abroad

once again IRGC commanders lied to everyone and said all the missiles succeeded and others were boasting of 0% failure rate ("No malfunction in 8 launches")

now we understand better why the leadership wants to avoid war with Israel at all costs

Not at least three, we see 3 missiles on the video and it goes with the impact video

Dysfunctions on launch were very rare and it happened here, only on the Haj Qassem ones
now we understand better why the leadership wants to avoid war with Israel at all costs
Ridiculous unreal emotive statement, cite us missile dysfunctions that happened in a real combat situation, tests are also meant for this purpose
Missiles clearly hit their targets in real situation with drone footage of them

Iran wants to avoid war with Israel because of 3 Haj Qassem missile failure on a drill?

As i analyzed the clip, i clearly said at least 6 missile hits the targets, if it was 5 then the error margin was 1 missile fail, this is probably due to the larger warhead missiles that hit the targets and did the most destruction while the lower warhead failed after launch

Yes at least three. 3/8 is rare?

2017 usage of Zolfaqar in Syria was assessed to have very bad performance

don't troll

2017, 6 years ago, you say yourself the failures happened on Hajj Qassem ones, also it was assessed by The Washington Institute and independent American Jewish journalists, which was and is a joke that uses Schrodinger Iran as a method of reporting, all strikes, even inside Pakistan, were documented by drone footage showing clearly direct impacts

Yes at least three. 3/8 is rare?
Every countries has military failures of all sorts, 3 failures in once since 2017 is considered as rare, the big warhead missiles did big damage, the bottom warehouses that didn't get hit were probably meant for the Haj Qassem missiles

don't troll
I'm not trolling you say yourself that Iran fears to "attack" Israel because of the failure of 3 missiles which weren't even tested in the past, Israel is not an existential neither military threat to Iran and is currently the region punching bag, most of the missiles have been combat tested with success without once trespassing the 30m CEP limit

a possiblity as haj-Qasem, Kheybar-Shekan and Fattah are the ones that are designed to bypass Israel air defense
consider this . we are more than 1000km away from Israel, our missiles are not artillery rockets , we don't have luxury of firing 100 missile and hoping 10-20 pass their air defense we want all of them hit target

^^Many of these Fateh-110 solid fuel missiles were produced 20-25 years ago and are at the end of their lifespan.

Now, these old missiles have a chance of being used in mass in Ukraine instead of being phased out of service.

Also, because many of these missiles are old, expect many of them failing in flight.

By selling these missiles, Iran will earn a lot of money and this will allow it to substitute old Fateh missiles with new Raad-500 missiles in its arsenal.

So war in Ukraine provides an opportunity for Iran to get rid of its stockpile of old missiles while earning a lot of money in the process.

Also, if Iran is ready to sell 400 ballistic missiles to a foreign country, how many missiles does Iran really have in its arsenal? Probably General McKenzie's estimation of 3000 ballistic missiles in Iran's arsenal is wrong.

Anyone knows what's the one in the middle and right/left?

The one on the right looks like a Bina bomb on steroids

This is all speculation on your part. You have no way of knowing the age of the missiles being sold to Russia.

This still doesn't mean Iran is afraid of hitting Israel because of 3 missiles that were first tested and failed
