Absolutely spot on. There is a marked difference.

The Indian members and us all agree on one thing. H1-B crowd in the US should return to India to contribute there. There is not much disagreement between us. It is just that the Indians being Indians have to make some fuss. In the end we all agree.

Why do you think Americans wanted Prafulla Dhariwal he proved his worth making GPT 4o, the Dall-E and Ghibli not to mention over hundred thousand citations for his research. I don't think Americans invited him for "cheap labour".

But what do you think? instead of suggesting the cost motive for companies, if you just do a straight comparison of potential employees from the USA versus India, does the Indian employee have superior skills to the American? I don't think I've heard this simple statement.
