He can rescind individual visas. If he does so arbitrarily, the courts can reinstate them. He does not have any authority to tell a company to stop employing those with visas or to stop outsourcing work.

He can toss people who are not US citizens or permanent residents out of the country. The executive branch has the power

For example, he can withhold FDIC insurance from those banks that outsource jobs abroad. What will your bank do?

All Presidential powers are subject to review by the courts. He is elected President, not emperor. If he starts doing crazy things, Congress can impeach him or the cabinet can declare him incapacitated.

Me think since his threats and tariffs didn't work, him & Navarro have decided to do a "Good cop, bad cop" routine....

When Trump had declared the tariffs, many kids had declared an immediate Indian capitulation.
Now they are celebrating Trump’s persistence in asking EU to impose these sanctions aka tariffs.

I don’t know what is going to happen, as India is not powerful enough to take on EU as well as the US. Till now the display of standing tall and not giving up has really impressed me.

There must be tears in the eyes of Modi haters. They can’t display it though and the worst is they don’t have strength to accept that India has done well in this game of brinkmanship.

Although it is an unfolding story, I would still say bravo to team Modi for playing it well till now.

There is almost 0 chance that the EU will impose extra tariffs on Russian energy buyers . If you have been following the story, the Trump administration is quite unhappy that EU continues to buy Russian oil and gas while expecting the US to take the lead on putting sanctions and tariffs on Russia, including secondary sanctions on those buying Russian energy. Trump doesn't want to put these tariffs and spoil his trade negotiations with China and India. He also knows that the EU is pursuing a free trade deal with India and is too divided within to put secondary tariffs on important trading partners like China, Turkey, India etc.

So, Trump has very smartly put the responsibility of taking the lead on the EU and offered to match any EU action , knowing full well that EU will not agree to put these 100% tariffs on some of their biggest trading partners . This allows him to continue to look tough on Russia while not disturbing ongoing trade talks with China and India.

Any temporary visa is at the courtesy of the US government. Judiciary will cut the executive branch some slack - especially this one

How about looking up the facts instead of speculating on what the judiciary will do. Courts have blocked many visa revocations by the Trump administration.

It has started to appear through various media channels that India has started to take actions on American demands especially on black marketed Russian oil. In a surprised act, Adani group that operates Indian ports banned any Western sanctioned ship carrying Russian oil. Sources in media have said that whether openly or behind closed doors, India will apologise to Trump. India has a nearly $ 46 billion trade relationship with the US that's positive in India's favor. India can't afford to damage that relationship.

Indian FDI has dropped nearly 96% this year as well as slow down on tech jobs coming to India so India can't afford to damage relations with Trump.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - India's largest private port operator, Adani Group, has banned entry of tankers that are sanctioned by Western countries at all of its ports, three sources said and documents show, a move that could hit Russian oil supplies for two Indian refiners.

Adani did not immediately respond to Reuters requests for comment.

India is the biggest buyer of Russian seaborne oil, mostly shipped on tankers that are sanctioned by the European Union, the United States and Britain.

HPCL-Mittal Energy Ltd, which operates a 226,000-barrels per day Bathinda refinery in northern Punjab state, gets all of its crude supplies at Adani's Mundra Port in western Gujarat state.
