That was a professional hit.

The shooter aimed from such an angle that even if Kirk moved his head front/back or sideways he would still get hit.

This was rehearsed and preplanned, done by like a pro by a pro.

The shooter aimed for his jugular vein and thats where Kirk got hit. 0 chance of surviving!

to be able to hit a pin point shot like that. Or the weapon used was highly sophisticated weapon

For an experienced and regularly practicing shooter, 182 meters is considered only a medium-range shot, and hitting the neck with a sniper rifle is not that difficult.

His assumption would have been correct had it not been for the likes of Donald J. Trump and his ilk being given a platform. With this new era of political leaders, we see extremes being tested, and @j_hungary, who I believe is more in tune with the street-level politics, also assumed as much.

You can even see Europe starting to test the boundaries of politics.

This has been the case since 2010. People are more insulated and only watch or associate themselves with the ideology they want to familiarize themselves with, and that's in turn makes a whole generation of people against each other because of their perceived value and view.

I had been saying this for a long time. Unless people are willing to meet in the middle again, we will continue to have this ping-pong volley of politics, where nothing will ever get done other than furthering each of our own political agendas. I can see if we still have a fair election in 2026 and 2028; you can bet the political spectrum will be pulled further to the left.

Problem is, people are short sighted, they don't know removing the guardrail of democracy is probably a lot more dangerous than trying to stack over their own political alligence, because you can purport all your political ideology you want, but once you are out of the office (which you will), that's gone, but when you remove the guardrail of democracy, that's gone for good, which mean not just your own party can exploit them, but the other party too when they come into power. I am not really concerned about Trump taking out people's Due Process rights and voting rights, because it's going to take more than 4 years (2 if he loses either house) to dismantle the guardrail. But the next admin will, because those guardrails are installed to make them powerless was removed by Trump via executive order, I can totally see if Dem come back next term, it will be more socialist than Biden and then there will be more push back on agenda forced into US populace, if you think them doing all the law to require They/Them or having to support Trans care. The next admin will most likely use the same tactic Trump used and force their agenda on people, which includes using the National Guard and executive order, maybe more.

200 yards is a very common distance for accuracy if you are talking about a rifle, army requirement is for every soldier to have hit 20 200 yards target without any optics, if that guy have optics, and he know how to use them (which a normal hunter would do) 200 yards hitting a melon size target is nothing.

First, do not underestimate the students. There are many who grew up hunting. Conducting such a shot would be second nature to them.

Secondly, outside of maybe a couple others here, I am a very well-skilled rifleman. In an earlier post, I wrote that in the standing position offhand I can shoot in the mid-190s out of a possible 200 on the standard SR target. That is offhand on a 12" diameter aiming black.

Give me a scope, a bipod, and a good position at 200 yards, and your day is going to be pretty well f**ked anyway you want to look at it.
