Production is the key, we simply haven't given this much attention, understandably so given most systems were designed with nuclear deterrence roles, but agree that the indians have been successful in calling the bluff of nuclear deterrence. The Pak military will need to address that, churn out offensive systems in thousands. The immediate solution would be to leverage China's excess capacity production while we expand our own. There should be alarm bells going off in GHQ, otherwise next time say bye bye to more valuable assets, as the indians won't even bother with their air force, just lob hundreds of brahmos our way.the biggest takeaway, also the most dangerous one is that the nuclear deterrence is no more.
It is a bluff and nothing else. Pak def relied too heavily on Indians believing our nuclear thresholds were seriously low, but the reality is it is and was a bluff, which they called.
i think @JamD can talk to this more, esp in terms of production capacities of pak orgs for cruise missiles etc, but, now we see so many new missile projects in pak, maybe theyve realised they need to build a proper scalable and producable fleet of missiles that can be expended like the indians can expend
Three J-10C flying line abreast armed with 18 air-to-air missiles between them. The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Air Force is now keen to understand how the PAF worked their jets so well operationally
Even in the interview with Warnes, the PAF were saying they "didn't want to humiliate the IAF", it's so heart-warming they feel so much affection for their adversary. I don't know what it is about Pakistanis that they are so obsessed with "saving face" of their enemy, I've seen countless members say the same thing on here. As if that's a major victory. It sounds like something an old aunty would say as she bitches about another family member. The way I see it, having fewer missiles is less of a problem than having an impotency.
Even a few hundred would've been enough. Problem is most of it being used as nuclear weapons delivery platform, creating a gap in conventional capabilities. Also, subsonic cruise missiles despite terrain hugging and waypoint navigation remain highly vulnerable.we just dont have enough missiles lol
indians used:
brahmos
scalps
rampage
and a variety of LMs
Pak used:
Fatah
Yiha
allegedly CM400s
Raad, Babur, KaGem, H4/H2, a HUGE arsenal of LMs were all missing.
Even some fatah launchers did not release whole salvos- we just dont have the stockpiles for a proper attack, atleast not in the context of BuM.
I would be shocked if we had more than a few hundred cruise missiles in stock
this is not strictly true- i did some math and an effective subsonic cm is as effective as a supersonic, im a bit busy at the moment but i will re tag you later with a proper post. im a huge supporter of continued subsonic investmentEven a few hundred would've been enough. tag me too on that reply please. unfortunately you are right. we wasted past two and half decades in this bluff but my point is are we now seriously trying to catchup? @JamD please shed some two three para on that for us?the biggest takeaway, also the most dangerous one is that the nuclear deterrence is no more.

we spoke about it pretty heavily here.
Pak AD is inadequate, though, funnily enough, there is now, a brand new PAF program to induct the sort of SHORAD we discuss in the episode:
TVC
Agile
Quick response etc
CAMM-ER is being looked at, maybe IRIS-T.
This is very well saidwhose religious redemption lies in Pakistan's perdition
Chhan Se Jo Tute Koi Sapna
Jag Suna Suna Lage
Jag Suna Suna Lage
"According to the IAF, retaliatory strikes took place at 11 different military air bases, on May 10. The bases included PAF Base Nur Khan near Rawalpindi, which was, according to the PAF, struck by Spice 2000 PGMs released by Mirage 2000s. It missed the HQ-9 missile battery at the facility"
The colour grading of the right image, especially the colour of the runway is great!
