Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

I bet if IK were in power instead of Shehbaz, PTI supporters would be posting a very different tune , just like when they were cheering as if MBS driving IK around Riyadh was some historic achievement or break through. Bhai Imran Khan ki game end hochoki hai 5 mah say .. move on now.

Its not about Imran Khan. It's about selling out for cheap.... It's always the case for Pakistani.

Pakistan sacrifices for others and gets peanuts in exchange.... Most of those peanuts go to the 1% elites while the common man suffers.

Pakistanis are more loyal than the king.

Very very interesting scenario.
Militarily Pak doesn't need much from KSA. On the other hand it can provide a lot of help to KSA in this regard through training and active involvement.
On the other hand Pak can benefit seriously by the Saudi investment in defence and economy. Saudi influence in arab world and on the diplomatic front would also be very important.

If i was FM COAS i would have asked MBS to allow pak expand it's nuclear facilities and ballistic missile tech on the soil of KSA to protect holy places from Israel aggression and giving pak a solid response base from KSA soil.
Agreed but without some sort of enhanced Pak footprint in Saud, how can they possibly defend against any aggressive move? Time will tell.

Good point, forget the money, politics and what else. Source of pride Pakistan can now protect the Holy Cities
One whole pillar of legitimacy that the King of Saudi Arabia has is "Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques". To give that up or even hint that someone else is involved in protecting these mosques is very reputationally and politically damaging. It's why in the Grand Mosque siege of 1979 , Saudis refused foreign assistance and went to great lengths to hide the French involvement in clearing the mosque of radicals.

You probably have heard of "SSG went and cleared the Grand Mosque in 1979" story, which was a falsehood.

This is a MASTER STROKE!!! Now you know WHY Trump and Putin showed so much respect to Pakistan recently? Because Pakistan now has become the NET security guarantor of this region as being a nuclear power.

So essentially, for India, from one side we check mated them through China and from the other side, we check mated them through Saudia / middle east!

This agreement has told us many things. One of those things is "Operation Sindoor" has been permanently removed from all Indian heads.

Saudia has invested dozens of billions of dollars into India and plans for dozens of billions more. So now that there is a mutual defense pact. Indians have to realize it's implications for their economy. Because Saudia is never alone it essentially controls narrative of the entire Middle East! And we know there are a TON of Indians in the middle east and growing, sending hundreds of billions back to India. India can't jeopardize that money and so many hugely profitable relations.

@SoulSpokesman @Raj-Hindustani @TAC @pwfi @MirageV3ff

Great post and I was thinking the same things!!
India is indeed checkmated and Modi can thank the failed Operation Sindoor for that. Even if Saudi Arabia won't come to Pakistan's defense, the economic strings that Saudi Arabia can pull, along with other rich Arab countries, who basically follow Saudi Arabia's line, are the game changers for Pakistan and against India. WTH is India going to do to Saudi Arabia in response?? I tell you what: Biding time like biding time as Trump insults India all the time.

Also, soon after the May 2025 conflict with India, I have been repeatedly saying that Pakistan's star is going to rise and rise and indeed, if you look at all the diplomatic activities and gains since then, there is unquestionable advancements in foreign policy.

Bhaiyu aur behno, lets not count of Mughay before the eggs hatch, Like I said in my previous post, even if we do send some soldiers to KSA we need a whole military base in order to give KSA any protection, we need runway, 1-2 sqs of BVR capable fighter jets, bunkers, Air defense system, not American but our own like HQ-16's or some other HQ series or else no matter how many soldiers we send they will be sitting ducks.

That would be a very provactive move. I don't think Pakistan is ready for that at the moment.

Right now Pakistani engineers need to get to work as the Saudi funding is coming.

All I'd want to say is Note dikha... mera mood baney.

Hopefully our mental midgets don't give away the farm for a few peanuts.

BTW If I am not mistaken, we had raised a dedicated armored division for KSA that was posted in the kingdom. It was unceremoniously sent home post GW1. @Panzerkiel is my memory correct?

Yeah tell them take a side let us to the real deal send Atomic energy commission fellows inspect sides de mark it tell stake holders what is exactly we can do there then let PA decide how they can defend sites there from air force and ballistic missiles this foot print access is imp on Saudi soil.

Saudi and Pakistani Kingdoms face unprecedented challenges and a young eager population. Pressing questions on unemployment, infrastructure decline and unwarranted trade barriers should be answered collectively. Unfortunately both Kingdoms face unconventional threats from rogue entities in the region and beyond.

They are already late this should have happened in 2000s.

Oh what a coincedence. Hope you enjoyed your birthday surprise.
