Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

The text of the KSA-Pakistan agreement is not available? Pakistanis don't know what they are being committed to?

It's only to defend Saudia which Pakistan always maintained even before this agreement. Usa also did the same when Iraq was about to attack Saudia they sent 500,000 troops. Everything else is just social media.

I am hearing UAE likely to make similar alliance with Pakistan and I don't think if/when that happens then the "dependency" this Indian analyst is talking about is going to be ignored when hiring foreign labor.

Qatar is close to Turkey, Saudia is close to Pakistan and UAE is more close to Egypt, and recently became close to India. I don't think they will do it.

The other side of the coin tells us...
That all this is just a hogg wash, in order to appease the respective populations specially the Saudis as since the isreali attack on Qatar their is great unease amongst the saudi public regarding the house of saud and the betrayal of the Americans.

The main thing that has me thinking along these lines is wt i am reading off the grape vines ie that the saudi did tell the Americans that they are about to sign a defence pact with Pakistan.

Which if true points to the fact that the saudis are playing Pakistan to get their u.s defence pact that the Americans have been delaying for years.

In May 2025, a Saudi high level delegation was in Pakistan to ask Pakistan to not retaliate against India after the initial skirmish of May 6/7; soon after the Saudi delegate departed, Pakistan launched its attack on India. The Saudi visit was in the news. And here is the same Saudi Arabia at least willing to help Pakistan financially in case India launches Operation Sindoor II.
The Indian blunder of so embracing Israel while the Gazans were being slaughtered and the Israeli mistake of attacking a country like Qatar have moved the tectonic plates of the region.

The Americans have always known your generals will fall in line with their orders, nothing new for them to realise there.

The same Pakistani Generals who the Americans accused of 'a veritable arm of the Haqqani Network' in Afghanistan?

I think Israel acheived the impossible in attacking Qatar, it has started the slow milkitary unification of the Islamic world. For the first time they now have to worry about Nuclear weapons aimed at them, and not just be able to fly F-35s all over the Middle East with impunity....

Isn't this putting Pakistan squarely in the Israeli/American cross hairs ? Uptil now establishment was clever and had kept quiet internationally about the nuke/missile program alongwith staying away from Mideast/Israel, signaling that all this was "India-specific".

West/Israel was always going to come for Pakistan missile/nuke programs one day, but I thought that was decades in the future and it would be via India or domestic actors. Establishment seems to be speeding up that clash by confronting the source, is that wise at this stage ?

Depends on what they see already coming and where they see themselves positioned. I know that we probably will disagree on this but, IMO, they've usually done an admirable job at it.

But Pakistan has been training Arabs for 50 plus years now. Not only do they come to Pakistani academies, but they also exercise with Pakistani forces and Pakistan also sends its serving forces to train Arabs in their home countries. I know of several retired family members who lived in Gulf and taught their various militaries.

Unfortunately, the Pakistani training does not achieve much given the systemic inadequacies of their setups. A US general made a famous comment during/after Desert Storm about, and I'm paraphrasing, the Pakistani training being wasted by the Iraqis.

The Americans have always known your generals will fall in line with their orders, nothing new for them to realise there.

The past 20 years of chronic, Indian and American, rectal bleeding from and about Pakistan's "double dealings" was for nothing? We know you enjoy it but very silly of the Americans.

This is a small but powerful sample of what Saudi Arabia can provide Pakistan with..There is much more..
I doubt Pakistan need any, real question is when will arabs figure out that they have trillions of dollars on wealth and 500 m population i.e larger then Europe

Because so far a country with population less then a tiny town in Pakistan is screwing them left and right

Nope, probably it was well co oridnated with arabs

Arabs are waiting for old grand pa to die before they embrace the night clubs in Gaza under Trump Ibrahim plan

"Netanyahu is losing his mind" as said by the Palestinian blogger MahmoodOD in a video I posted above.
There was absolutely no need to attack Qatar!! And after doing that, the Israelis asserted their right to strike where-ever. Good God, how stupid they have become in their arrogance!!!
Going forward, Israel should be very very careful watching what, if any, Pakistani missiles are going to be deployed in western Saudi Arabia!!!!

And now they know you are sheet scared of China and your natural inclination is towards taking on a much much smaller country, even then you are failing.

So let's not lose sight of the inherent predicament of India, that they pretended to be an adversary to China, dropped the Facade very quickly, and are obsessed with the smaller country
