Pakistan-Saudi Arabia mutual defense pact: News & Discussion

yeah and i don't even think Americans could do much . army knows how important nukes are to Pakistan

Also on a practical level Israel will have to use proxies (Afghans/Indians), Israelis can pass off as Persians but not Pakistanis, that complicates things. CIA has assets disguaied as "contractors" and "diplomats", as Israel has zero presence in Pak it cannot do this.

On the other hand, many many tourists go to Israel every year.

Actually yet to get the details of pact.

We only know that nuclear weapons will be available to Saudi, but what is there give and take... Will Saudi support with some dollars in exchange? Actually it seems so...

Is there any military bond if attack on Pakistan also be considered, attack on saudi- these things didn't come up... If it was, there could be openly declared as same thing happened between India and Soviet in 1971..

So deal is likely Pakistan will serve Saudi with nuclear when they need it, and exchange Saudi will pay the dollars for the service... And definitely yearly, something will pay by Saudi to Pakistan as well

also dont forget large amounts of indians that visit Israel , including military cooperation and you know how well isi has infiltrated Indian military

Indian level article.

They are desperate to downplay this, it is a massive set back for them. They actually though Saudis were on their side due to oil sales at one point. Same delusion that made them think they were indispensible to the US...

Yes, in a funny way, this will now have Mossad deeply checking all Indian connections. This alone will cause problems for India and Israel and ISI have not even lifted a finger yet....

Nothing wrong with preparing for ‘worst case scenarios’, however unlikely.

Better to have policies and plans in place JUST IN CASE, rather than address such a situation on the fly.
Hello bro, nice to see after a very long time.

On topic, of course Pakistan needs to be prepared for the worst case scenario and I am sure Pakistan has had policies in place for that matter for a very long time.. But, the point I am making is some people are so scared of the US and Zion, that's it's embarrassing, they live in perpetual fear of these two nations.

it should be focused in all expects airforce navy army , and especially intelligence . also non nuclear side too .

Israel's advantage is overwhelming airpower. That is the basis of the security threat that Israel poses. The Army and Navy are totally irrelevant in that context and will only create more targets for Israel's airpower. What is needed is to neutralise that airpower and large increase in the quantity and quality of that airpower and that only comes through a better IADS, and Airforce..

jokes apart thank god we have strong military that can squash these kind of threats

Don't be silly, those political differences don't translate into becoming a traitor to Pakistan. And, security is not the sole of the Armed forces, it is the people always, the armed forces are one dimension. You kind of made that point, with your point without realising it.

Najam Sethi explained that the Taliban are not so strong. They themselves fear the terrorists of TTP, ISIS etc. According to Sethi they will let Pakistan attack and destroy the TTP and pretend to complain to keep their own public in control.

I have a lot of respect for Sethi sb but not every analysis he gives out is right. He's good with politics.

For Afghanistan, you need to know the local culture plus our military strategy and ongoing discussions to do an analysis.

Afghanistan is anti-Pakistan essentially. Talibans are only after their own power. Yes, they are always concerned with various groups that have hold in areas, but it doesn't help us. They are closer to Indian dollars than us, the Indian dollars is what buys TTP/BLA terrorists also.

have you seen the amount of pti accounts supporting anti state narratives including celebrating death of Pakistani soldiers . and how much divided we are because of party/ethnicity things .
