As i have understood Egyptians are panicking.

My own take on this subject tells me that its because they feel being sidelined and hence lose their previous place in Arab world.

Israel apparently hit Pakistani tanker with a suicide drone, a tanker that carried LNG to Pakistan.

Not to mention that Pakistan's biggest weakness is its dependence upon petroleum imports. Pakistan is an oil and gas importer hence vulnerable in that sector.

Solution is to import from Persian gulf instead of the red sea routes.

I was personally glad to see KSA and Pakistan sign a defense pact but surely Israel is rattled to its unholy roots.

Pakistan is already replacing Egypt in Arab and islamic world for sure and its a good development. Egyptians cannot fight anymore like a tired oldman.

Egypt has had many chances and each time it has failed. So let them panic. Egypt has a role to play and that is supporting not leading anything.

The country like Iran is infested with Mossad agents.

They co-opt with Israel on many ventures including a multi-billion gas deal signed with Israel.

Also Sisi is an ally of Israel.

I have no idea why people are repeating this illogical claim left and right. Iran was at war with whole western intelligence and a combination of NATO forces stationed at Iraq, Syria and occupied Palestine.

You can analyze that war without nagging about being infested whatsoever.

Sisi just openly called Israel an enemy in the last Arab-Muslim summit..
Egypt is the only Muslim country who has defeated Israel in an actual war..in 1973

So get your facts right before posting about these matters next time..

Saudis should stay away from American weapons moving forward as US will never allow them to use against Israel if situation arises though highly unlikely but you just never know after Doha incident. If any country who have expertise on Chinese weapons other than Chinese, its Pakistanis. HQ9B, J10s, J35s - Pak Saudia together can really get benefited. Also Pak Navy is set to get multiple type54As and subs from China in the next 3-4 years so too much on the table for cooperation.

The days of mass armoured thrusts across the desert are over. If that were the criteria Israel would be finished in 2-3 days.

Frankly speaking. Egypt has no nuclear weapons, it was no decent missile capability other then Scuds and Scud variants and its jet fighters have been kept deliberately handicapped in terms of avionics and missiles. Once you remove the land army, Egptian missile and air power is really not greater then Saudi, UAE or Qatar.

This is a misconception militarily, air power doesn´t win wars but conventional armies does hence making Egypt a bulkwark and a power to reckon with. Nobody is gonna roll thru Egypt conventionally in the 21st century.

Disagree, we are not talking about wars per se in the normal sense of the word though.

Israel has bombed Yeman, Tunisia, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebonon and Qatar and dominates many of these countries without using a single ground soldier.

Bombing 2 buildings does win you wars. Striking 2 buildings is not war..

If you want war in the true essence look at Russo-Ukraine war, the Syrian-Rebel-Russian-Iran war, Myanmar war, or even the short lived Karabkh wars were real wars and also Gaza is a conventional warfare.

Nobody can say you know what I am just gonna have a airforce dog-fight with Egypt and thats it. That is not how wars work.

Egypt has to be beaten everywhere in order to defeat them and nobody can do it in the ME but only the forces of a combined NATO force can fight Egypt exclusively
