Lebanon-Israel War | 2023-present

Was just watching a program on TV. A greek professor(of strategy and something else I don't remember, geopolitics or don't know),mentioned Jolani wants to use Turkey's help in order to grab northern Lebanon. He said he(the professor)was recently in the Lebanon-Israel borders and he goes like: "I'm telling you,if you thing this whole Syria war is over,we're all in for a surprise. Every day, there's murders of Christians and anyone else who isn't on the side of the extremists."

The hostess asks him if he has heard from sources there, when he was at the Lebanese-Syrian borders. He said yes and he spoke with the Patriarch of Antioch himself as well, who
told him there incidents of Christians being murdered every day in Syria. And that doesn't appear anywhere.
well HTS is obviously an extremist sectarian group in the same fold as AL Qaeda and ISIS that will slaughter christians and shias and other minorities

but I don't think HTS is strong enough to invade north Lebanon. Jolani is too terrified and passively accepts thousands of Israeli air strikes and occupation

That's why that professor mentioned Jolani is trying to achieve that with Turkish help, somehow. Who knows, maybe he has aspirations for parts of Lebanon. And Israelis of course would agree, because that would solve the problem of Hizbollah and other Shiite and christian forces that are against Zionism,Salafis and Turkey. Of course Maronites and Druze are mostly in the pro-Israeli camp.

Lebanon is an artificial country anyway and largely a French creation. It should become a part of Syria or merge with Syria like throughout most of recorded history. In any case it is a tiny and failed country with no future of any relevance and no unity between the various groups.

For the very same reason that there are 4-5 times as many Lebanese outside of Lebanon than inside.

KSA hosts half the number of Lebanese Christians that are still living in Lebanon for instance to put it into perspective.

In fact in a perfect world Palestine, Lebanon and Syria should merge into one country and Jordan merge with KSA as most of Jordan is part of historical Hejaz/Nabatea and most of the locals are Hejazi's. Jordan too is another very recent invention, created as a compensation for the betrayal of the British (false promise of 1 united Arab state across Arabia, Mesopotamia and the Levant) for the Hejazi Hashemites.

Eventually the geography will return to what it was for millennia naturally.

Sheikh Naim Qassem: We will not abandon our weapons

Israel expected the fall and collapse of Hezbollah, but we regained the initiative and persisted in the field

We have achieved a jihadist recovery and are prepared for any defense against the Zionist enemy.

We call for the implementation of the Taif Agreement, which stipulates achieving liberation, including relying on the resistance

The Lebanese government committed a sin when it decided to withdraw the resistance's weapons, and it must correct its decision

I’m not proponent of disarming Hezbollah I honestly still give them a lot of respect for fighting Israel over the years minus a few things we all either agree or disagree on but honestly I have a fair and easy way to pressure Hezbollah or lebanons government hold a referendum and if either side gets more than 50 percent they win no fuss or muss I honestly think Hezbollah would win here they get higher turnout in their communities versus other communities

I remember this video from Telegram channels. Hezbollah caused real and extensive damage to Israel for over a year. Trouble was the Israeli doctrine of attacking civilians and destroying homes and infrastructure. That strategy didnt work in Gaza but did work in Lebanon. It was the Lebanese public that had enough and forced Hezbollah to stop.

Israel launched > 1000 airstrikes in one day when it started its offensive operations in Lebanon, killing over 500 people in 24 hours

then the pagers operation and walkie talkie operation

then dropping 50-100 bombs to kill Nasrallah then dropping 50-100 bombs to kill Safiyudin (and bombing paramedics who tried to access the rubble for a month)

this was after a year of Israel carpet bombing every village in the south of Lebanon to make it easier for their ground forces to advance

add to this the number of Lebanese christians working with Israel and it was a very difficult situation

To be fair I don’t think Lebanese Christian’s played any huge part in operations against Hezbollah maybe Druze but Israel has been keeping its eye fixed solely on Hezbollah for the past two decades they saw them as the bigger fight they never even paid attention or Hamas in Gaza Hamas in Gaza was basically an afterthought but Israel was actually investing billions past two decades in preparations for a war with Hezbollah
