Remember those Bun-Kebabs and Bun Samosas in the school canteens in the 90's? Even Rs 2 was hard to come by to buy that.
If anyone had Rs5 or 10 they were the envy.....

miss those days of shouting at the canteen master to get your bun-samosa or bun kebab or Chaat lunch before they ran out, hahaha

If my memory serve, they used to be 25p per pack. Coke and this, match made in heaven..

I miss baqir khani, lol i think that was baqir khani i used to soak in a piyala of milk.....haaaaa

back when childhoods actually existed for (us) children.......

Last year when I went to Pak, all I saw the children was always studying or being kept busy.

Early morning school > come home, eat, get ready >> Tuition/homework >> then go for Quran/masjid/siparah >>come home its dark >>eat >>>sleep.......thats 6 days a week routine.......by 8pm kids are dead tired from their workhorse routines.

Only a Sunday remains where not much happens........

Feel sorry for kids in Pakistan being micro-managed by the helicopter parents.....so much damn competition for the best schools, the best tuition center, the best academy, the best masjid/siparah classes, etc

Only the summer break/vacation is when kids actually got lots of free play time to just be kids......ab to chuttiyon mei b tuition jana perta hain
