Hegseth Calls Urgent Meeting For All Generals

In a move sending fresh shockwaves through the Pentagon, Gen. Bryan Fenton, head of U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), announced his resignation Friday—just days after a highly controversial speech by President Donald Trump and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth at Marine Corps Base Quantico.

Fenton’s departure marks the second resignation of a top general this week, following Gen. Thomas Bussiere, head of Air Force Global Strike Command, who also stepped down Tuesday.

I find this Trump desire to use the military inside the US very disturbing. Isnt there some law against it ?

The US is only part of a small handful of countries in the world that don't allow their military to police their own people. The others are Germany (added in 1949), Japan (added in 1947), UK, and France.

Trump authorizes troops to Chicago as judge temporarily halts Portland deployment

“I told Pete, we should use some of these dangerous cities as training grounds for our military,” Trump said, referring to War Secretary Pete Hegseth. “We’re going into Chicago very soon.”

i have a strong feeling that shit is about to hit the fan, perhaps, and its not looking good for the locals in america. With their own army deployed against them, good luck to the freedom lovers

The National Guard is fine...yes it is part of the military but it isn't the US Army/US Navy/US Air Force/US Marines.

The National Guard is a state's private military not the Federal Government's US Army/US Navy/US Air Force/US Marines.

The Posse Comitatus Act prevents the US military from participating in domestic law enforcement. However, this law, simple as it may seem, is filled with exceptions.

Here's a primer on the Posse Comitatus Act.

This. And this distinction is what a alot of people struggle with. Thankfully I have some great friends who educated me on the differences.

I am aware of differences between regular military, National Guard and then the Reserve. But I suspect Trump doesnt know the difference or care. Deploying the National Guard itself cannot be done without the approval of a state's governor and yet Trump didnt do that in California.

Trump and his drunken minister of war, dragged all of the U.S's generals back to the U.S to tell them

-No fat generals
-no beards
-no dresses
-Their are 2 'N'words now
-Their enemy is within America

The U.S is a absolute CLOWN SHOW🤡
What do mean by that and he really advise against beard and dresses?

Hegseth should never have been appointed Secretary of Defense. He needed a tie-breaking vote by JD Vance to get confirmed. He's not remotely qualified, except for serving in the military. Actually, Trump had better secretaries in his first term. Yet he insisted on a television host? Strange.

Sure it can. If the state of New Mexico refused to protect the Los Alamos nuclear lab the President can call in the New Mexico National Guard over the objections of the Governor of New Mexico.

The Supremacy Clause (U.S. Constitution. article. VI), federal law tops state obstructions.

  • Clause 2 Supremacy Clause

  • This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

ICE is a Federal program. Enforcing it falls under the Supremacy Clause.
