I find the IAF Chief’s claim about Operation Sindoor hard to accept: Pravin Sawhney

Mr Pravin makes a case or otherwise, there is no evidence of PAF suffering losses except for a partial damage to its AWACS parked at Bholari AFB.

The Indian air chief is toeing BJP’s line rather he focuses on his job.
As an Air Force Chief, he stands totally humiliated internationally.

He's hoping Surrender Modi will give him another chance to redeem his owner and dignity by initiating another conflict. All in the hope that IAF can somehow actually damage something serious, like a ship or some major stationary asset in Pakistan, and it doesn't even has to be a military target.

From IAF Chief to IAF Clown all just within one hour on 7 May 2025.

I dont even know why they do this. The claims about the s400 and the F16 are straight up false. Did they not learn their lesson from Operation Swift Retort?

He's probably under too much pressure. 🤔

I am sure Surrender Modi will be questioning him why the Indian Air Force has so miserably failed when he provided so much shiny toys to the air force ever since he came to power.

They don’t care if they are lying. They know their public demands soothing.

The Egyptians, after their considerable loss in the 1967 war, focused on a similar campaign of cope. Interesting enough, if things on the ground had not changed, the Egyptians could play it off, but the Israelis on the canal forced their hand by 1973. Pakistan, smartly or not, gave the Indians an off-ramp; a pathway where they could run their mouths all they like but basically stand down. Trump calling them out at every speech is really what hurts Indian egos the most. The Pakistani narrative has stuck and is echoed, in word and in deed; the minerals deal and the Pak-Saudi defense agreement, ending Pakistan’s isolation in Washington and returning it to prominence.

Having said that, the Indians will be planning an Op. Sindoor 2, if only to try to win back some honor.

If the S400 did shoot something down … don’t the Indians realise the Russians would be celebrating this?…

it is a major marketing point

Praveen Shawney was court martialed by the Indian army. He knows he has a thriving market and he caters to it. He is well rewarded for his ideas.

In 2019 he predicted that pakistan is an overmatch for India. In 2025 we saw the outcome.

I note how none of you are trying to address his arguments, rather his character.

Anyway....you are invited to humiliate yourselves again. Perhaps you receive some pleasure from it? You'll soon have images of the burning hull of your vickJUNK to add to your pleasure directory.

Yep, that's what burns the indians

It's the fact that the world isn't accepting their narrative

So they have this shame that they can't bullshit away

It's why the indians are so bitchy at the moment

Pravin Sawhney says that a Russian expert told him that as IAF Chief claimed that S400 system tells IAF that it shot down 5-6 JF17 or F16 is BS since it is simply not possible for S400 to confirm its kill of high speed jets

In simple words Pravin Sawhney has said that "AP Singh bakwas kar raha hai"

He is being very polite when he says hard to believe when he knows very well and the entire world knows that IAF chief claims are nothing but Bullshi#

bhai just check the level of delusion of these people, PL-15 failed in recent conflict and IAF had a edge during the conflict, aby kon si BSDK ki nation se paala par gaya hai humara ? Zameen mili banjer aur Dushman mila kanjar.

I now realize why they got beating from Muslims for close to 1000 years and than British. And if they continue with this delusional bubble of theirs they would eventually go to back to same fate.

I dont know guys
i cant listen to him (pravin) as he sometimes goes the way of his fellow hindutvas and he actually believes what his country does
i'm sure he still thinks we're harboring terrorists
so lets not give him too many views or legitimacy, after all, he still an indian!

Pravin Sawhney, Karan Thapar, Arifa Sherwani are very good Indian analysts/journalists who are the old fashioned Indian intelligentsia wanting peace between India and Pakistan. But they have to criticize Pakistan to remain 'relevant' in India and probably also to prevent a nasty backlash. The Indian govt made even a mighty outlet like 'The Hindu' backpaddle on the report of Indian jets shot down on May 7, 2025. So context is very important. Those three and a few other Indian journalists do what they can within their constraints.
As to the OP video, Pravin all but accused the Indian Air chief about lying about the claims of having destroyed PAF aircrafts. And indeed the Indian Air Chief's bizarre idea like 'let Pakistan keep judging how many our planes were downed so that they may underestimate our strength next time' [paraphrased] was not 'befitting' for the top most official of the Indian Airforce.
Karan's panel is usually very interesting and he carefully chooses to promote his own views. Look at the very last minute where Karan agrees, "clarity", with Pravin in a round about way.

Yes, perception was very important, as the OP video says.
Also, it was very smart of Pakistan to give the offramp to India on May 10. What matters more than a few tactical gains are larger geopolitical gains, in which without a doubt Pakistan's star has risen and keeps rising while India's has fallen and keeps falling. Who can deny all that?!!
