J-10Cs for Indian planes, F-16s for Afghan terrorists, suits me fine.

Having suffered so many casualties in our military, we had no choice. Cannot send officers and men into battle and let their enemy live freely in Kabul.

Be nice to have a J-35 do the same to Doval in Delhi in a few years....
*few months IA.....

U can't really conduct airstrikes in fata . It's your own population. Airstrikes always have collateral. The army has recognized this and do not want to anger the civillian population anymore and subsequently increase support for ptm. That's why they have pivoted to intelligence based operations.
Noah had prayed, “My Lord! Do not leave a single disbeliever on earth.
For if You spare ˹any of˺ them, they will certainly mislead Your servants, and give birth only to ˹wicked˺ sinners, staunch disbelievers.
My Lord! Forgive me, my parents, and whoever enters my house in faith, and ˹all˺ believing men and women. And increase the wrongdoers only in destruction.

- Sura Nuh (Ayet#26-28)

Could Iblis protect the Firaun, Nemrud, Abu Jahil, Abu Lahab etc.?

Could Bharat protect Mujib or Hasina from the wrath of the BD Muslims?

Every bullet, every rocket, every missile fires into Afghanistan could have been used against India and yet for some extremely complicated reasons, the problems with Afghanistan don't go away, no matter who is in power there?! Even a supposedly pro Pakistan regime of Mullah Umar of the 90s had occasional artillery duels with the Pakistani military.
I don't know what's Afghanistan's problem? Only thing I can think of us they are so used to warfare throughout their history, so wanting to have foreign powers meddle in their affairs, so welcoming of foreign powers giving money to become proxies that that's all they do now. Otherwise, I can't think of a reason why Pakistan-Afghanistan are in such confrontations which go back decades--well before even the Soviets were 'invited' by the Afghan leadership in 1979.

I think Allama Iqbal has already made it amply clear: The world changes (for betterment of course), but not the Afgans.....

On a funny sort of way, despite who has ruled Pakistan over the centuries, we have always had to police this border, from British Raj, to 1950s and Faqir of Ipi, to Soviets, to Americans. The flags change, problem stays the same.

This time at least we learn, no invasion, not boots on the ground, just lobbing the occasional bomb at the right target.

If we need to do this for the next 100 years to keep them in check,, worth the cost of the fighter jets and LBGs....
