We understand the Bhai Chaara. We want to love the Afghans. But they cannot get over the Durand line issue. The British messed up a lot of borders so many of them leased, so going by that logic of past borders, Pakistan can equally say Afghanistan is ours, just along with other provinces, Kuwait can say Iraq is theirs, Jordan can say Lebanon and Syria are theirs and India can say Myanmar to Afghanistan are theirs. So that is highly illogical. They have shown enmity to Pakistan since day 1, being one of the last nations to accept Pakistan and welcomed the USSR with plans to take over Pakistan. When Pakistan fought back with US support, they doubled down and started enmity about why Pakistan allied with the US against them.

Even at our best relations at the time of Mullah Omar, there were nonstop skirmishes at borders as none of them accepted the Durand line. Recently their Rep was called to China to put some sense into them but they went back and allied with India instead. If they had any sense they would join Pakistan in CPEC and move ahead. What else can Pakistan do when they have caused killing and Mayhem in Pakistan for 20 years with no end to it and no talks at all ? Its better to at least try the other way, at worst they will attack us ? Well that's already happening for 20 years now. So how does it matter ?

If we know we have to be strategic about this. Unfortunately, strategy isn't a strong suit of those running the show if it were we would not be in this situation in the first place.

Being strategic isn't the problem

TTP attacking our soldiers, police or civilians backed by Afghanistan is the problem

Though what will Afghans do with those fighters ? As I see Afghanistan has no supporting assets to operate such a fleet, they need operational airbases, radars, air defenses, so much more . If they do get it, Pakistan would bomb it off on the ground, like the US did in Iraq. Any air defenses would take time to set up and I'm sure Pakistan won't leave any of those standing the moment any kind of setup begins.

And we are not even talking about the US yet ..... Or Iran .. Or Middle East. Nobody wants the Crazy Afghans to be running around with Jets. Hell, they could turn on India by the morning if one of them does not like Modi's Eyebrow style.

India would probably get FATF blacklisted for giving fighter jets to Taliban, for all I understand. This seems probably as much of a joke as India capturing the Lahore Port.
