Afghanistan had to attack to show its a sovereign country.

( just like Pakistan Iran skirmish).
It was not war but to show sovereignty.

In result TTP chief gone. TTA also condemns attack.

Everyone is happy. It was mutual understanding to attack TTP

Let the fan boys play but goal achieved.

I think it been a firm position since good old days of defence.pk.... we always said, strike inside Afghanistan. But again, Pak 1100 miles of porous border need huge budget, a national action plan approved in the era of Raheel Sharif.....as usual nothing happened.
But this area been destabilized since British era, its been 130 years?. stick and carrot.

Strategic fumble by Pakistan.

There is already discontent among ranks.

NOT THE KIND against country but disagreement with the actions especially the follow up conference and political rants.
That was simply uncalled for and not needed.

That doesn't mean orders wont be followed or some massive mutiny is "JUST AROUND THE CORNER" as many will hype it up. But that the ruling cabal's impression in the eyes of their subordinates and peers is not good. AND THAT MATTERS.

Regardless of accusations and cross accusations - at the end 90% of the Pakistan military follows a system but maintains their motivation as fighting for Pakistan. If they feel their actions are being detrimental to Pakistan the grapevine to internal intel and so on will start ringing. If these people listen and take actions to correct as all good senior commanders do they will be fine, if they decide to suppress and force everyone to fall in line - - well then things will get more interesting.

No matter how much hatred is spewed - this is till Afwaj e Pakistan in majority - if you try to make it anything other than that then you are courting much bigger problems which if they cross a particular threshold then there is NO GOING BACK.

Let there be no premature celebrations. When Afghans retreat they usually reinforce and come back to fight protracted war. Their reinforcement hubs need to be targeted as soon as their politico military commanders assemble there.

these are taliban, i doubt if they can muster the courage to go again so soon, as these are not ordinary afghan people, but these are terrorists even hated by their own people, specially women as well

You cannot in any form or function or otherwise expect a military only solution to this problem NOR can you expect the military to implement all aspects of a solution including political, social or infrastructure regardless of them taking it on.

It needs all players including political(local) as well as national level to take this situation seriously and not play Punjab , Sindh or KP centric politics.

Bro, I don't know what makes you think Afghanistan needs to be balkanized.
There is a large gap between Wishful thinking and reality.
Pakistan just needed to leave Afghan to its own devices and to setup better relations for its own regional interests. Pak traders export a lot to Afg, trade with CAS, and TAPI needs peaceful Afghanistan.

But you cant expect others to conform to your own standards for social conduct. The world is a vast and wonderful place. And people use choice language, and burp and chew with their mouth open and a host of other things. We are only responsible for our actions.

My circle of concern is about as small as my circle of control since I accepted a long time ago what I can and can't control.

You, me, not no body knows who's earned Allahs praise and who has earned his ire. Only Allah knows that.
