Trump threatens 100% tariffs on BRICS nations over US dollar replacement plans

The US and the entire western industrial supply chain is at China's mercy, and they cannot get rid of China either.

Trump's anger is now purely driving by extreme fear.
Fun fact, in a very extreme condition, China could even try to force Australia not to sell rare eath products to US by letting Australia choose between exporting iron ore to China and exporting rare earth to US. The money Australia makes from exporting rare earth is nothing compared to exporting iron ore.

Pakistan also uses China's tech and machines to produce rare earth materials. China just banned exporting these machines and tech. So Pakistan will stop supplying USA anyway.

By the way, Pakistan definitely lost score to China. We all know rare earth is the most important bargaining card China has over US. China's friend should not betray China on this most sensitive issue and in this most critical timing.

Pakistan's rare earth mine is light rare earth, not heavy rare earth. It will not affect China's monopoly on rare earth. PDF Chinese members do need to overreact.

China in fact holds most leverage.

However, we are generally thin skinned people, we don't want to be nasty to other people.

Australia is a loyal US lapdog, only listens to its master.

I'm not saying the consequence. I'm saying the guesture Pakstan showed to China. China holds big shares of world light and heavy rare earth output. So US not only lacks of heavy rare earth, but also light rare earth.

When the whole world realizes China has surpassed US in military power. loyal lapdog will not so loyal anymore.

Recently, China has ordered Australia to settle its iron ore trade with China in CNY instead of USD, and Australia has accepted it.

Because the Brazilian ore and Guinea iron ore invested by China have already been put into production, China can completely cut off its iron ore trade with Australia at any time. If Australia feels that it can its country by exporting kangaroo meat……

So we don't believe that the Australians' loyalty to the United States would extend to giving up their high-income country. Australia is ultimately just a country that sells resources, and not even rare ones like oil. It needs China far more than China needs it. No matter deep the friendship and no matter how strong the alliance with the United States, the economic relationship will inevitably erode it from within.

But, the Kangrooland had been toe the line hard of anti-China initiated and maybe ordered by Trump in his first term and Biden's term too despite China is their biggest very important trade partner. They only tune down after Trump got elected again to see a weaker and isolated US. Aussie's security depends on Yanks, at least they like to put that way, and all countries usually put security before economy.

The alliance between Australia and the United States has been tempered in the blood of world wars, and we must neither overrate nor underrate the loyalty of Australian people. But the geopolitical principle that economics determines politics and politics determines military will not change. We have only to wait patiently.

Australia doesn’t need the security blanket of the US and the political elites in Australia know they don’t need it. Ultimately they’ll break this for the money.

China offered India an exclusive rare earth metals deal, stipulating that the metals not be supplied to the USA. In response, President Trump imposed tariffs on China and sent his newly appointed ambassador to India today to meet with the National Security Advisor, the Ministry of External Affairs, and Prime Minister Modi, despite the ongoing U.S. government shutdown.

Hmm what's cooking?

China is courting India and America finally getting out of its slumber?

And India recently agreed to purchasing Russian oil using Yuan.

Australia also agreed to selling Australian iron ore for Yuan.

India and China certainly are cooking something. Strategic partnership in coming decades is not out of the question. In fact, this might be the direction and hopefully also means all party mutual agreed settlement of all regional issues (including between India, Pakistan and Afghanistan). This would cement Asia's position.

This is the license India's government won after providing China with intelligence information on KIA smuggling heavy rare earths. India got the rare earth it to reactivate its industry by betraying the US and KIA.

How can there be security when their economy fails and people are starving because China no longer wants to do business with them? All those fancy weapons but soldiers will be starving and people have not enough to eat, sparking riots and civil society collapse😅

Look at the EU's foreign ministers, do you think the people they elected are serving their country? She only serves the interests behind her, and hundreds of millions of Europeans are not in the scope of consideration. The United States has deeply penetrated their political arena, but it's just a constant spokesperson, and the back-end funder has not changed.
