All conflicts in afghansitan ended because there wasnt everything to control over like the purpose of controlling afghan territory isnt feasible after all the losses you would have to face...like what will you do after defeating the talibsI have no doubt about the first part of your statement. But what is the value of nuclear angle in this?
The differential in power is humongous and Afghans wouldn’t be able to do much in a conventional conflict. The elements of PAF with Armour and Artillery can pummel other side in a conventional conflict. Afghans wouldn’t be able to stop an advance into their territory.
Afghans never had that edge over anyone - USSR, USA, British etc. Still, none of them were able to hold onto that territory without taking significant losses. Losses that never seemed to stop. It is like a wound that just refuses to heal.
Pakistan may be able to drive their tanks all the way to Kabul but then there would be a question - WHAT THEN?
Contrary to tall claims and chest thumping in this regard, I would look at history and be a little cautious.
Then Pakistan should do this:This attack has been orchestrated by India.
Pakistan should mobilize civilians and form civilian militias. Reactivate pro pak Kashmiri militant groups like LeT. While Pakistan is fighting Afghanistan, civilian militia should construct defences against potential Indian invasion. Tribal militias in KPK who are pro pak should be used as supplementary manpower to capture Wakhan and strategic areas along Afghan border. Pakistan should keep its focus limited to Wakhan and strategic areas along the border in Afghanistan. It should avoid trying to capture any large civilian settlements rather capture peaks or areas that offer the ability to indirectly control these areas. Tribal militias should also be given tasks of defending their areas from TTP. Declare state of emergency and put everything on high alert. Pakistani molvis should be brought on live TV reiterating rebellion against the state is haram and TTP is khawarij. This should be translated in Pashto and Balochi and shown in all parts of the country. Massive amounts of cheap FPV drones should be purchased from China on an urgent basis and converted to suicide drones for use in Afghanistan. The aim of Pakistan in Afghanistan should be 1) capturing land enough to prevent any Afghan buildup or infiltration and 2) strikes that eventually cause Afghan people to rise up and push for regime change in Afghanistan.
Bangladesh should be Pakistan’s other priority right now. Send an ssg team there. Create JuD and LeT type groups based in Bangladesh with the aim of making Bangladesh India’s Afghanistan. It’s very important for Pakistan to light up India’s east right now. All insurgencies in seven sister states should be covertly supported. If Pakistan Afghanistan war goes on for longer than expected Pakistan should work to manufacture a Bangladesh India war. China should be requested to pressure India from the north if they’re willing.
It was a JDAMIt is a heavy blast for a drone. Which weapon in our possession (drone operated) can cause this much damage ?
I believe it to be Akinci. Because only that drone can carry such heavy bombs.
Yeah no shit that's how it works when one side has a vast disproportionate advantage advantage in conventional firepower.A good example of factual and accurate reporting.
All the losses were on Afghan side while the Pakistan had only gains.
There is no doubt about the differential in military power and bigger losses on Afghan side but this kind of reporting is as good as of no value.
Non conventional weapons and tactics can be used in conventional warfare so arming civilians and sending them as militias is not feasible. Then Pakistan should do this:
There is no other option. Afghans could even retreat from areas on purpose making Pakistan fall into the trap of over extending itself in Afghanistan before Indians try a ground invasion.
A projectile can be seen at 4 seconds mark. Seems like a jdam / rek
Hush.It was a JDAM
Large explosion and the the projectile that hit it seemed like a air launched munition.Hush.
Shhhhhhh...who told you that ?
Ok yes, getting warmer.Large explosion and the the projectile that hit it seemed like a air launched munition.
Onboard Turks and Arabs to arm Syria and sale Fatah’s to Egypt. What if Israelis are already there and operating inside Baluchistan also through Afghanistan ?
You really should look at history before you compare apple and oranges.I have no doubt about the first part of your statement. But what is the value of nuclear angle in this?
