Russia has zilch influence or even interest in Afghanistan at the moment. They've been only talking with the Taliban because of Afghanistan's northern neighbours.

If Pakistan falls out with the Taliban, the Russians will simply go along with whatever Pakistan decides for Afghanistan.

keep raising the cost for the talibunnies........can't stop now, the cost needs to be 1:1000 talibunnies.
Increase the firepower and the frequency/amounts and use big toys. We need to seriously do enough damage, not just few posts or targets. Make it so that they regret remaining alive with whatever is left.

Stay away from Afghanistan
They all hate each other along ethnic, religious lines; no one is on our side or is the morally righteous side in Afghanistan
Support them and they'll eventually start massacring the majority population, which'll lead to internal issues for Pakistan itself
They are mentally ill.
I feel like with Afghanistan there are no "right" decisions from our end.
