In the late 80s I worked in sunnyvale ca. Which was part of the silicon valley. There was a masons lodge near our office. We would occasionally walk to the lodge which had a canteen for lunch. The food was ok and it was cheap.

He has been waiting over a year for his trial.

Judge Gibson keeps postponing it. Another hearing, another $250 in court fines.

Last time I talked to Robert, he told me his trial has been postponed 26 times.
 
Half of those hearings, I let Robert park in my driveway and walk over to the Court House.

Never spoke to him, knew to just leave him alone.

Went back inside and bought him an extra large fountain drink. Told him take all the time he needed.
 
Last night, a father of four, parked at the truck stop.

Passenger side headlight out. Terrified passing through Nowata.

Two hours, hood up, trying to fix problem. I offered him suggestions, etc.

When it appeared safe to get home (from the dirty piggies) he was gone.
